Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D: Recon Chapter Two: Trust Issues

Skye's Pov

" I Love you." as soon as those words left his mouth I was shocked. He's the cold hearted bastard that lied and maniplated us. Bad guys don't confess their love to somebody because they don't have heart. I laughed. " Wow you really must think I'm dumb." I said shaking my head. Ward gave me a blank look. " I don't. I know for a fact that you are very smart, talented and dangerously beautiful.' He said matter-as-factly. " How do I know that you are lying?" I asked skeptically. Amusement flashed  in his eyes. So he thinks that this a game. Well I'm not playing because I'm tired. Then Ward let out a frustrated sigh. Desperation replaced the amusement in his eyes. " I don't know how to describe how I feel about you Skye." He said pacing. I rolled my eyes. Before I found out that he was HYDRA , I did have a tiny crush on him but that went away when I found out his secret " identy". < A/N AU> Ward walked over to where I'm sitting and pushes the table away. " Ward wh-" Ward's mouth interupted me as he passionatley kissed me. I kissed back. That sent him off the roof probably because he thinks I forgiven him. Nope sorry bud not anytime soon. Ward pulled back and we both panted for breathe. " Now do you believe me?" He asked pleading. " I guess but I still haven't forgiven you for what you did to the team." I said. Ward ran his hands through his hair. " I'll quit HYDRA." He said. I shook my head. " No you won't . You didn't quit for the team and you won't even for me." I said mad. He sighed. " When Quinn shot you, I thought that I was going to lose you. So I stayed until you recovered." He said tiredly. Now that I look at his face, I see bags and dark circles under his eyes. " Please Skye I love you." He said with desire and love. " Then quit HYDRA for real this time, for me." I said. Ward nodded. Then he grabbed my hand. " What are you doing?" I asked in confusion. " We're leaving right now." He said grinning like a fool. He ran out the door with me struggling to keep up. Ward stopped and picked me up bridal style and took of running. The security guard took notice and started to chase us. We finally stopped at a door. Ward swiped a card and the door swung open. He grabbed my hand and we took off into the night.
