𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓━━ He couldn't believe it, he knew it in the back of his mind, of course, but when the reality hit him like a truck only now he understood what that meant; he didn't have what it takes to be a hero. He was embarrassed. He just stood there, frozen, helplessly watching as a villain harassed a pair of girls. He wasn't manly at that moment, not like Mina who stepped in without a second thought, but that was the moment that mattered most. That's when he knew his fantastical dream was over. With Eijiro's dreams crushed could you blame him for wanting to eat his feelings in the comforting walls of Café Catsby?

Eijiro chose the seat in the farthest corner in the back of the establishment, the only place that wasn't as illuminated as the rest of the café, perfect for the sulking he was planning to do. He slumped down onto the plush tan pillows, fiddling with his black fringe as he waited for some smiley waiter to take his order. That smiley waiter was you.

"Hiya, I'm Y/N L/N and I'll be your waiter today!"

Eijiro felt his mood slightly uplift upon hearing you speak. The soft and mellow tones of your voice made the corner of his mouth twitch upward, but not enough for a smile. He was actually quite intrigued to see your face. Would it match your angelic voice or would it be completely different? This little guessing game distracted him from his brooding just for a moment, but he was grossly unprepared to finally view your features.

'wow..an angel..'

His eyes widened and his lips were slightly parted with awe, you were the most beautiful person he's ever seen. Your mouth curved into a toothy smile that gave him goosebumps, he unconsciously smiled back, seemly forgetting the reason he was in the café's dim corner in the first place. Your e/c eyes made Eijiro want to do nothing but stare into them, and identify all the hues that made up your irises. The café's lights bounced off your h/c-colored hair behind you, giving you a makeshift halo. He was so lost that he hadn't noticed how much silence had passed.

"Uh, hello? Would you like something to drink?" you kept up your blinding smile, waving your hand in front of the boy's face.

Eijiro snapped back to reality in an instant with a heated face hidden behind his hair.
