I sighed, there's nobody here today. Just me, myself and I.
Or so I thought. My heels were already off, I left them downstairs. Upon opening the door, a slim, lanky woman stood by the railing. To be honest, I was somewhat pissed. Yet again, despite myself, I screamed out to her.
"Hey.. don't do it. Please..!"
Like the last, she swung her head around, staring at me. She said nothing, just stared.
"I know what you're going through.. talk to me."
She looked at me with a gentle smile, sighing and shedding tears.
"I don't fit in here.. I work so much and nothing. Everyone steals, everyone ignores me, everyone bullies. I can't do it anymore..."
I silently grunted. Was this girl serious?!
"For gods sake please.. are you serious?! I just can't believe you got here before me..! Even so, you're still loved at home! Everyone there cares! There's always dinner waiting at the table for you!"
The lanky girl sniffled and smiled, nodding and gave me a hug. Before leaving, she shouted happily.
"I'm hungry!"
Maybe tomorrow would be my day.. definetly.
