Chapter 1: Shane's Route

An empty house stood still, quietness enveloping the overall aura in a silent and uneasy feeling.

Discomfort put aside, Arine promptly sat down at her creaky gaming chair and prepared to simp over a verbally abusive alcoholic. Why? No idea, he had an air of mystery that she couldn't resist. After she discovered that he was a depressed loner with a couple of unhealthy habits, she completely ditched her Elliot save file and created a new one so she could chase after Shane.

She was obviously deterred when she discovered that he was a douche for a very long time, but she kept at it and got to the marriageable point in the relationship. Now she only needed to upgrade her house two more times and she'll be set for a spouse and two children. We all know that it wouldn't take long to get to the "final checkpoint." She was a horny adult, okay?

Not like children depended on how early she jumped his bones...

Yes, she had made a completely logical move and assigned her character the male gender! Judge her if you must, but who wouldn't use this amazing opportunity to get some free yaoi? Completely straight people, that's who!

Giggling perversely, Arine clicked onto her save file while wiping away the result of her heavy nose bleed. "Shane darling~ my oc is coming for you~ >:3"

Just as her game loaded, the power went out and her screen turned pitch black, completely forgetting how to do it's damn job. The fujoshi stared at her screen in disbelief, jaw dropping to the floor. She was so close... to having children with Shane! She could smell it! Even Shane could sense his impending doom!

Practically yeeting herself off of her no longer comfy chair, Arine stumbled around her living room while searching for her phone. "Hello darkness my old friend~~~ umu..." She sang off key.

She eventually stumbled onto her couch 'gracefully' then kurplunked onto the floor face first. A galactic-like portal opened up beneath her and she began falling through the sky while upside down. As the grass beneath her got closer, she closed her eyes and prepared for impact.

A few seconds passed before she landed on her head, her legs falling beside her face with her butt now in the air. Ah yes, epitome of grace and beauty. She reminds everyone of an elegant princess dancing beneath the moonlight!

Arine rubbed her bruising head and looking at her new surroundings. Mountains surrounded her with... flamingos? Flamingos flying above her. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion and annoyance, catching onto what may be happening. "No way...
