"hey"

jisung froze for a second. he didn't believe he was actually talking to minho.

"um h-hey" jisung managed to quietly say.

"how was school?" asked the dancer.

"it was alright.. how about you?"

"kinda boring if i'm honest"

a short silence occurred, not exactly awkward. just a moment of disbelief.

"are you feeling any better?" asked minho almost nervously.

jisung let out a quiet and breathy laugh,

"yeah a lot better"

"good to hear, you can always call me if you're upset"

"thank you, really" jisung said staring at his feet as he walked.

"by the way, what grade are you in?" jisung continued, hoping the boy was around his age like he sounded.

"im a senior this year, you?"

"me too, thank god" jisung said relieved.

the younger could hear a light chuckle through the phone.

"why thank god?" minho finally said.

"you could've been an old grandpa for all i knew"

"aren't you the one who said if i was i could give you life advice?" the older asked.

"i don't know what you're talking about" jisung denied quickly.

"you're such a weirdo" minho stated while smiling.

jisung couldn't explain the sudden heat that spread across his cheeks. he couldn't think of anything normal to say.

"n-no u" he stuttered, mentally facepalming himself.

"all shy now huh?" minho let out a breathy laugh before continuing,

"well i have to go now, but i'll talk to you later jisung"

jisung slowed his walking when he heard the older say his name.

"y-yeah talk to you later, bye bye" the younger managed to say.

"bye bye" minho said before hanging up.

jisung couldn't think straight, all he could think about was how the other boy's voice sounded like velvet.

slightly longer chapter than normal! hope you liked it! i'm not completely satisfied with it so it may slightly change in the future!

also i want to refrain from saying age because it just makes things confusing for me so just know minho is older like irl but theyre in the same grade anyways!
