fuck. minho instantly regretted what slipped out of his mouth.
"o-oh, yeah! he seems pretty cool." jisung replied.
jisung could feel his heart breaking. only recently did he realize that he felt things for minho. then, one sentence crushed all his hope. his heart felt heavy and he found it harder to breathe.
"yeah he's really cool.." minho couldn't stop his lie now.
please stop. jisung's heart pleaded.
"what about your crush?" he continued.
"my crush? he's amazing, but he would never like me back." jisung said sadly.
"sungie, anyone would be lucky as hell to have you like them."
hearing the older call him that nickname and say those words.. jisung felt tears start to well up.
trying his hardest to not cry, he just bit his lip and looked up.
"sung? are you there?"
he felt hot tears run down his face. he tried his best to not make any noise, but his sniffles gave it away.
"jisung are you okay? what's wrong?"
the younger hung up the phone and set it aside. ignoring all the buzzing from incoming messages.
