Chapter 5: Textmate

"Shall we?" I heard someone ask me from behind.

"Huh?" I looked at the guy standing behind me,it was Jake.

"Nothing." He added quickly.

"Why are you in our table?" I asked him when he sat beside me.

"Nah, it's boring sitting at our table." His head is leaning in his hand.

"I didn't know your Sarah's sister, i didn't bring the leash." I said.

"Nah it's okay,i told you you can keep it." He answered.

"I'll give it back. I don't know what to do to it so why should i keep it?" I asked him rolling my eyes.

He's starting to piss me off again so i just took out my phone. The music was loud so i wanted to go to somewhere quiet. I walked out of the house and saw a swing at their garden full of fairy lights. Their house was big. I took some photos and posted it on Instagram and captioned 'wru my romeo?'.

"What are you doing here?" I heard someone asked from behind.

"Oh hey.. Matthew right?" I saw him in the bench near the swing. "The music is too loud out there so i have to go here for some piece of mind." I added.

"Yup my name is Matthew, Alexa right?" He offered his hands and i took it. "Same. It's so loud there and my brother won't budge when i say i want to go home."

"Your brother is Sarah's friend?" I asked.

"Yup, how about you?why are you here?" He asked back.

"I'm one of Sarah's close friends and my sister is her classmate." I answered. "Thank you for the handkerchief by the way." I remembered.

"Nah it's okay, what's your whole name?" He asked.

"Alexa Mae Martinez. You?" I asked.

"Adam Matthew Salvador." He said.

"Wow. What a nice name." I complimented him.

"What grade are you in?" He asked.

"I'm in 9th grade." I answered his question.

"I'm also from 9th grade hahaha." He laughed.

"I guess we three have a lot in common." Someone spoke behind us that made me and Matthew flinch. I immediatly looked behind to know who spoke. This jerk again?!?! Why is he always following me?!

"What are you doing here again?" I annoyingly asked him.

"What do you mean again??" He just laughed at me. "I mean this is our house. Why am i not allowed to go to our garden?" He just laughed at me again but this time, Matthew was laughing too.

'That was understandable...but still, why does it seem like he's following me.' I thought.

"Then i should get inside already." I told them as i walked back to the venue. Matthew and Jake must be friends. I killed my time by reading some stories in my digital library called whopad. Margo and i brought some clothes to change with incase we itch from it so i walked to our car to find our clothes inside my black bagpack. The party already ended so it's time to say goodbye to Sarah.

"Goodbye Sarah! It was fun hanging out with you again! Happy birthday." I said while waving at her. I already sat in the front seat as i got a message from Jake.

I opened the window beside me to look for him. Aha! Found him. He's still in the garden but now he's sitting on a swing.
