Chapter 1: Leo the kitty

There was a kitty in the bench.It was a black furd kitty licking its paw,and it was wearing a blue leash and there was something written in it.𝙻𝚎𝚘. Maybe Leo was its name.

I approached the kitty to know if its lost.I think its lost because it looks like it hasn't eaten in two days.By the way, I'm Alexa Mae Martinez, grade 9 student. I had decided to take the kitty home and tell Agatha tomorrow. She is my best friend for 3 years now.

"I saw it in a bench on my way home."I told her while having lunch at our school canteen.

"Can i see it later??please."she said while pouting.

"Sure." I said while picking up my food wrappers because i heard the bell rang.

"Aw men,i haven't even finish my food." She said annoyance while picking up her food.

Agatha and i raced to our classroom when suddenly i bumped to someone which caused me to fall to the ground.I looked up to see who i bumped to but i didn't recognize his face but i apologized quickly because i know it was my fault for running without looking at where I'm going. They both helped me get up.

"Watch where your going." He said with a cold tone of voice while walking away.

"Your bleeding.Lets go to the nurse clinic to clean it." Agatha said.

"Aren't you gonna be late for class if you come with me? I'll just go there by myself." I answered.

"Eh?Are you kidding me.If you would be late,i rather to be late too. That's why let's go." She said.

I dont want to argue with her because the last time we argued was months ago,we didn't talk for weeks.

"He's handsome you know." She said out of nowhere when we arrived at the clinic.

"Who?The guy i bumped to?" I asked.

"Yeah,Martin Jake Hernandez." She answered.

"Yeah i have to admit but why does he look like a bitch when he talked,its just he's cold you know." I said.

"A lot of his classmates tell that he is not friendly,but I'm not sure though." She said.

"Oh! What time is it!?" I asked surprised.

"Oh my gosh!were late by 3 mins,and is Mr.Gonzales our teacher!? She asked.

"Um...Nurse Clea can you do it a bit faster?were kinda late." I asked the nurse sincerely.

"Oh yeah sure,sorry." she said.

"No,its our fault anyway.We shouldn't have been late if Alexa didn't fell." She said while giggling.

When the nurse was done cleaning my wound we rushed to see our teacher writing at the board. He looked at us raising a brow.

"Ms. Martinez and Ms. Reyes,care to explain why your late?" He said. He's the strictest teacher in our school so we got a bit nervous telling him the reason we're late. "Oh right, I don't need your explanations because besides im not just gonna let in late students." He shrugged.

"Yeah right,see you around sir." I said and walked out of our classroom.

We headed at our school grotto and seated at a bench. I slept instead of studying our quiz for our next class. Agatha played some games on her phone instead of studying. I also putted an alarm on my phone to wake me up.

"AGATHA JANE REYESSS!!!" I screamed out so loud that i fell. Luckily there weren't many students in the grotto so not many were surprised by my scream. She putted my volume high because my alarm was only vibrating and then she putted my phone on my ear.

"Shhhhhhh. Sorry but our class is starting soon." She said while laughing at me.

I stood up and rolled my eyes. It was not funny because i fell and hurt my butt. Our class started already when a guy stood in front of our classroom door. He was tall and cute.

"Um..I'm sorry to interupting but is there anybody named Alexa here??" He said nervously.

I raised my hand for him to know that my name is Alexa.

"I think this is yours because no one in our school is named Alexa. I found it in our school grotto." He said while handing me a yellow handkerchief.

A name was engraved in the handkerchief. 𝒜𝓁ℯ𝓍𝒶.

I took the handkerchief and then he left. Our quiz ended and I got 26/30 in our quiz even though i didn't study. The quiz was easy so i got a passing score.

Our last subject ended, when i looked at Agatha she was sleeping peacefully. I quickly shaked her shoulder so she would wake up.

"Hey Agatha,class is dismissed." I said while shaking her shoulders.

"What? Wait what!?" She tilted her head while looking at every empty corner of our classroom.

"Yeah,schools finish for today." I said calmly.

"Can you lend me your notebook? I'll just copy our lesson in your notebook." She said surprised.

"Sure,now get up and were gonna find Leo's owner"
