batIM part 1 (I think)

(This is gonna be a BatIM one-shot with my OC River Pearl. You'll get to know about her during the story. But just a little bit of info on her. She used to be an assassin and is hella rich(because why not?). She is friends with every worker in the studio and this is pre-game. So the game has not happened yet. Anyway enjoy this silly one-shot. It's not my best.)

River opened the door to the studio, she walked in and gently closed it behind her. She heard footsteps here and there along with the scrathing of pencils and pen on paper. She smiled and, quietly, walked to the head animators desk. When the desk came into view she sighed and shook her head lightly with a gentle smile. 

She walked closer and turned Henry's head lightly to the side to see a peacefull expression on his face. She silently chuckled before letting go and stepping back. She turned around and was about to walk toward the musci department when she heard the tapping sound that always followed Joey around. She shrank back into the shadows, knowing he wouldn't be able to she her. After a few seconds Joey walked around the corner, with papers in his hands. His fancy shoes came to a stop when he spotted Henry asleep on his desk. 

"Doing magic again, Joey?" Joey's head snapped up from where he was looking at Henry and saw River walking toward him. Joey smiled, realising she got a look at the papers in his hands, while River put a hand on Henry's shoulder, gently shaking him awake. "Henry? Can you wake up?" Henry groaned and shifted slightly. He slowly lifted his head and looked up at the ex-assassin standing over him. "Riv?" She smiled while Henry sat up and yanked her into his lap, giving her a hug. River, who didn't expect this, yelped before wrapping her arms around him in return. Joey coughed and Henry looked at him, confused for a second before smiling gently. "Good mornin' Jo-jo" Joey blushed a light pink before turning around and walking away "Come to my office when you're ready Henry." He called over his shoulder before turning around the corner and disappearing from sight.

 Henry huffed and let go of River, who quickly stood up and looked around. "No need to be paranoid, Riv. No one's gonna tell us off for it." River forcibly relaxed her shoulders and put a gentle smile on her face. "I know" She was about to walk away to the stairs that led to the music department  when Henry said "River." She turned back around and looked at the animator, arching an eyebrow. Henry grinned "I love you~" River blushed and turned around quickly walking to where the music director was.
