chapter 1. Welcome to Lakewood

Y/n's pov

Hi there! my name is Y/n I recently moved in Lakewood. My mom and dad got recently got divorced so my mom thought it would be a good idea to move to a new town.

*flashback*

I was in my room doing my homework,when suddenly the door to our house opened with a loud BANG!

I went to see what it was. Turns out it was dad,he was bruised badly and mom came out of the kitchen to see what was happening.

"F/n! What happened?!" Mom asked worried. "It's nothing serious honey" my dad said reassuring mom,but I know he wasn't okay. I stood there about to say something before mom spoke up.

"Do you think this is okay!? your daughter and I am worried!" mom shouted clearly angered, mom was about to speak again but dad talked first. "I'm really sorry,I'll try my best not to worry you two."I was about to forgive dad until mom spoke again.

"F/n! You can't keep doing this! I'm scared for yours and Y/n's safety, villains may try to take her to get to you! You're a well known hero..." I was also scared and no words came out of my mouth. Mom broke the silence by saying: "I think we should file a divorce, I can't keep living like this." Dad looked sad and was about to speak when I spoke.

"What?! Mom you can't!" I said clearly angered and overwhelmed."I think it's for the best Y/n" dad spoke which broke me.

*end of flashback*

And that's what happened.I'm in mom's car right now and we're going to our new house,she said I would like it, because one of her friends was near our house, but we're going to Lakewood plaza first, and I can't wait to go there and I couldn't wait to meet her.

(Time skip 'cause I'm lazy)

After an hour of driving we finally reached Lakewood, it was beautiful despite reports of a boxman ruining the plaza." Y/n, sweetie we're here" mom said smiling at me, I took off my headphones and started to walk out of the car,then suddenly a lady with ash blonde hair came up to us. "Hi M/n it's been a while,this must be Y/n!" The lady said enthusiasticly while I gave her a faint 'hello' they began to conversate while I just looked at my phone and started listening to music.

T.K.O.'s pov

Mom went out of the dojo to meet her old friend,not like I cared. My shift at Gar's was over so me and my younger brother K.O. went to her dojo.

"Hey T.K.O who do you think mom's old friend is?" K.O. said while I just replied with "I dunno and I don't care" I said clearly not wanting to conversate.

"Oh okay,you think we should go back to Gar's and hang out with Enid and Rad before mom comes back?" K.O. said and I only answered with an "eh, sure".

We walked out of the dojo and went to Gar's we walked in and Enid was on the counter doing nothing and Rad slacking off. 'If Mr. Gar finds about this there in trouble' I thought before snickering. "Hey ENID!" K.O. shouted and Enid fell off her chair.

"K.O. what are you guys doing here? your shift is over" she said still trying to get up. Rad came up to me and asked how I'm so bored all the time."nothings interesting, that's all" "so why are you guys here anyway?" Rad asked, and K.O. answered "mom had to talk to her old friend" "old friend?" Mr. Gar said out of nowhere.

"Yeah mommy said she'll be back later" K.O. said to Mr. Gar, because Mr. Gar has been dating mom since we were 6-11/12 years old and they eventually got married.(A/n: hi,uhm you may not know what K.O and T.K.O.'s ages are but in the show K.O. is 6-11 yrs old so I'm making Turbo 1 year older in this fic and by the way your ages are. K.O: 16 T.K.O: 17 you:16 okay Author-chan out)

Then K.O.'s phone went off.

"So what did your mom say?" Enid said. "Oh nothing,she was just worried" "well let's go then we can't keep mom waiting" I said clearly wanting to go home."let's go because mom wanted us to meet someone"K.O. said with obvious 'he want to go there now' tone but cuter– wait Author why'd you right that down?

Author-chan: cause I'm losing words in my vocabulary 😒 let's just get on with it.

"Ugh fine" "you okay dude?" Rad asked "yeah,let's just go already...
