"I KNEW IT!" He pushed Jungkook away. "I'm not your property Jeon, I can touch who the fuck I want!"
Taehyung banged the door and left the house.
Jungkook sighed, "so close"..
Tae went to the washroom and opened twitter. The girl wasn't lying, it was all over the news. Jungkook's name was not mentioned anywhere but anyone who knew him could recognise him.

"It is him" Tae's eyes teared up.

Jungkook was fuming. He was promised this wouldn't happen, that she would take care of the news. Heck, Yoongi had told him this was too risky.
He was mid practice when Yoongi pulled him out of there. Hobi had come running too. Afterall it was their secret which got out.
"You said yes" Yoongi stated.
"She said she has everything covered. Damn I'm going to kill her. My dad can see this" Jungkook started yelling.
"Hey Jungkook calm down. Your face is nowhere. That back profile can be anyone who looks a little like you so chill. Act like nothing happened and no one will be suspicious"
"Okay" Jungkook answered taking a deep breath.
"But you need to call her"
"Yeah" Jungkook dialled her number.
She answered, "I'm sorry Jungkook! I swear we paid them but yet they released the pictures"
She was crying and Jungkook calmed down. It was her who was on the verge of losing her husband.
They were all very drunk that day. Jungkook was happy to have found someone who knew Korean and vented to her. They kissed in the heat of the moment but parted right after. That was when Jungkook had realised it would take more time to get over Taehyung than he had initially thought.
"Taehyung"
Jungkook knew Tae would recognise him anywhere. He thought he'd worry about this later.
"It's okay, just tell me what to do"
"Right now I'm going to explain myself to Jaewon. It was an honest mistake."
"He'll believe you"
"Thanks Jungkook. I'll call you tomorrow"
"Okay"
Jungkook cut the call and looked at Hobi.
"It's my mistake, all of this" Hobi sat down on the bleachers.
"No hyung you were helping me... You wanted me to move on"
"And you had to go meet that actress, a married actress" Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"Jimin is calling me" Hobi looked at Jungkook.
"They know, of course" Jungkook sighed.
"It's alright Kook... Least of your worries right now" Yoongi said.
Jungkook vaguely nodded and texted Millie to meet him. He wanted to talk to someone without being judged.
"He said Tae is upset" Hobi whispered to Yoongi. Jungkook heard it and he knew Tae will stay with Jimin tonight.
As soon as he recieved a text from Millie saying she's free, he excused himself and went to the bar.

"The news got out huh?" Millie said.
"Yeah" Jungkook sighed as he sat by the bar.
"You're wondering about Taehyung"
"I am.. a little bit. He'll be furious and angry."
"Jungkook... It's not your fault. You didn't initiate the kiss. And even if you did, you guys were on a break"
"True but.. that was too soon don't you think?"
"He might think that, but I have a feeling he'll understand"
"Hmm"
Jungkook spent some time drinking by himself and decoded to leave. Once he was done, he got his jacket and prepared himself to go back to his lonely house.
He was drunk so Millie dropped him.
He climbed the stairs and went to unlock the door. Before he could realise the door was already unlocked, a figure jumped on him and hugged him.
"Jungkookie I was so worried. I thought you ran away or something." Tae was crying.
"I'm here Tae, I just..."
"It's okay. I'm just happy you came back home" Tae hugged him tighter.
Jungkook felt warm and wanted to cry of happiness. This was new. Taehyung staying back after something this big made him feel happy. He smiled and hugged Tae tighter, carrying him inside.
