"I KNEW IT!" He pushed Jungkook away. "I'm not your property Jeon, I can touch who the fuck I want!"
Taehyung banged the door and left the house.
Jungkook sighed, "so close"..
Yugyeom looked at Tae. "Come on please... He lost his chance it's not fair. I like you please don't go"
"What?" Jungkook gasped.
"I didn't want to bring this up until later but I can't lose you again.. This is not fair." Yugyeom pointed at Tae, "He does not get to come back after how he treated you"
Taehyung felt like puking he was that uneasy about the situation.
"Yugs..."
"Jungkook you're doing so good don't go back to how miserable you had become"
"I won't" Jungkook touched Yugyeom's shoulders. "But this talk was long due"
Jungkook then turned to Taehyung and signalled him to lead the way.
Once they got into the car, Tae couldn't help but smile.
"Thank you"
"For?" Jungkook asked.
"Coming"
"I'm coming to get my things" Jungkook answered.
Tae's smile was replaced by a frown.
"And to hear you out"
Tae nodded and looked at Jungkook who was focused on the road. He smiles and looked away.
They got inside the apartment and Jungkook sat on his favourite sofa. Taehyung used to hate it but since Jungkook had left there was no other place he would sit on.
"Jimin sits here doesn't he" Jungkook said with his eyes closed.
"Yeah coffee?"
"With sugar this time" Jungkook answered and Tae nodded awkwardly.
Jungkook nodded and headed to his room.
Tae wanted to stop him but didn't know what to say. He expected Jungkook to call for him and ask who was living there but Jungkook didn't.
Taehyung thought he concluded Jimin lived there and didn't ask further questions.
Jungkook came out with some files and sat down.
"What do you want to say?" He took the coffee.
"Jungkook... I wanted to apologise for everything. I know I was wrong, I know it was my mistake. But after losing you I realised that the only person at loss was me. I don't want to lose you so can we please be"
Tae looked up at Jungkook and knew that face. Jungkook was going to leave so he instead said.
"friends?"
"Hmm?"
"We were friends before we got into a relationship-"
"For two weeks maybe" Jungkook giggled.
"Then let's change that. I want to be friends"
"I'll think about it" Jungkook answered genuinely.
"Okay" Taehyung smiled.
"Nice coffee"
"Thanks"
Then the comfortable silence. No one said anything. There were used to this. Calm in each other's presence.
Jungkook's phone rang. "Oh hi"
"I thought I blocked your number"
"Hmm"
"I will bye" Jungkook cut the call.
Tae wanted to ask what happened but he didn't know if he should.
"Everything okay?" He decided to ask.
"Oh yeah" Jungkook shook his head and sat down.
"Do you want to come back? Hobi is asking Jimin to go back but Minie doesn't want to leave me alone"
"Tae honestly I think it's too soon..."
"No! We'll be roommates and maybe friends nothing more"
"Um"
"Come on I know you love this place. It's your home after all. Or I'll move out"
"No no that's fine. I'll move in Sunday yeah?"
"Okay" Tae nodded.
"Bye" Jungkook smiled and Tae walked him out.
Once he was gone, Tae closed the door and sighed. "He felt so distant but that's progress I guess"
Then he sat down wondering about the call Jungkook got a few minutes ago. It was definitely a girl, Tae could hear a little. He brushed it off deciding not to be too nosy.

"Jimin! You can go back to Hobi hyung"
"Tae we talked about this I'm not leaving you alone"
"You won't be"
"I swear to god if Bogum is coming here "
"No it's Jungkook" Tae smiled.
"What" Jimin gasped.
"We made progress"
"You made"
"Yes" Tae smiled widely. I just want him to be close. I feel safe.
"You sure you won't lash out at him once you get comfortable?"
"I'm scared of that too Minie" Tae looked down. "That's why I'm going to try for a few months and see if I'm in check. I don't want to hurt him any further"
"That's so considerate of you, Tae."
Tae nodded and sat down.

"That's a bad idea" Yoongi answered.
"I know but he'll have to live alone"
"So? He's a big guy"
"Hyung I can't do that"
"You think he can handle your friends coming in? Watching the match? He didn't allow that before so better check with him"
"Yeah okay" Jungkook cut the call.
