Blair Waldorf sat at her desk, she hadn't slept in so long. Her eyes kept on closing and she found herself drifting off in minutes. She instantly woke up when she heard the phone ringing, who was it this time? When she saw the caller, her eyes lit up. Was it weird to say that she had missed Humphrey the most? The way he held her, smiled at her, and comforted her were all things she loved about Dan. Even his curly hair that she always said that she despised, she loved that too, Blair had a habit of always touching his hair and she knew that he liked it when she did that. Memories of their relationship couldn't help but flood back, she should've chosen Dan back then. She and Chuck were the same, maybe that's why they couldn't work. They had passion but the only thing that brought them together was sex and scheming, when she had Henry, she realized that. But she had no regrets, Blair did love Chuck but it was Dan who had her heart the whole time. Blair was jealous of Serena and that slowly started ruining their friendship, they always chose Serena. When Dan didn't marry Serena, Blair actually felt relieved or even happy. After that, the brunette saw her best friend grow and shine. Nate had confessed to her that he didn't stop loving her and Serena felt the same, they were going on one year strong and Blair was really proud of her. Georgina and Jack had gotten together too, they both looked happier than ever which was strange to say for them. Chuck traveled a lot and visited to see Henry, Blair realized that Chuck was more like a friend to her. After the divorce, they learned that they didn't need to be in a relationship to be fond of each other. They worked well as friends and now all of the attraction that she had for Chuck Bass was gone. Blair picked up and quietly said: "Hello? Humphrey, why are you calling me?" Her heart was beating so hard, it was probably going to explode. Daniel quickly replied with: "I needed to hear your voice, it's weird how I still feel the same while you moved on so fast. Blair, did you ever love me at all?" Blair Waldorf was in shock, how could he ask her that? After two years, Dan Humphrey wasn't the same. She wanted to answer but every time she tried to speak, her voice was just not there. Dan started to speak again: "You know what, I'm coming to see you. I want to see you, Blair." He hung up and Blair felt her whole body light on fire, she was panicking. He couldn't see her, not right now, not ever. Blair Waldorf had given up on love and she wasn't ready to fall for the outsider from Brooklyn, who unknowingly swept her off her feet once before.
