Today is the day we will depart to Sugar Island. As an official, I was instructed by mama herself to join the force. And I was asked to assassinate the leader of the enemies.

As a result of my studies yesterday, I found many interesting things about Vice Admiral Will. I could say that he is a two-faced guy. He is well respected by the Marine because he is the best officer with his good personality at the same time he is corrupt.

When he invades Sugar Island, he used realpolitik* tactics to claim over that rich island. False documents, threatening the citizens and brutally killed them who against him.

I was fascinated by it. I also received a report which more interesting yet disgusting. Those reports from the spies

Sugar Island lived by various kinds of races besides normal humans. A rare species such as snakeneck, long-leg, the longarm human, and many more are valued in the slavery trend. The report also mentioned that he meet with the slave hunters in secret once a week constantly and he received bags of berries. About 20 large bags.

A marine who is cooperating with the illegal group gain such an amount of extra other than his career.

This person is worth being killed by my hand. I had a perfect way for him to meet his end. Fufu~

"Oi, why are suddenly giggling like that. It's creepy." it was Cracker who came into our chamber. Oops, I'm overthinking.

"Nothing, just in deep thoughts," I smirked as I opened the crate.

"Care to share with me?"

"Not in million in years." I scoffed and ignore him.

He signed in defeated and told me to be ready because after breakfast we will leave. Then he went out went to the dining hall.

In this chest here, is my clothes. For the mission, I will wear a black coat tugged in, dark magenta pants with a black belt, and black heels. I also wear black silk sleeveless and strap singlet beneath the black coat. As my hair down as always.

After I dressed, I saw a blue light glowed in the opened chest. I crouch down and took it. It was my family ring...
I smiled softly.

"It has been a long time, old friend," I said to the ring. The ring glowed brighter.

The Nightfall ring. It's my family artifact long lasted for hundreds of years. This ring lives with me for my whole life. This ring is also cursed and powerful. Only the chosen Arduenés can wear it and the last one. Also...the last living of my race...

I think I just keep it with me, just in case if in circumstance or need it. For finishing touch, I comb my hair and wearing black gloves.

"What took you so——!?"
He just stood there a long time as if he was turned to stone after I arrived in front of him.

I tilted my head in confusion as I waved my hand on his face. Is he ok?...

Out of blue, he snatches my hand and he kissed my Knuckles. I only made a poker face and I took my hand away. "Don't need to do that," I said bluntly and He smirked. "You're gorgeous in this clothing. Are you making me falling to you?" He said it in a flirtatious manner. I rolled my eyes and she wore her usual fake smile with a fake expression. "Why thank you for your compliment. You're flattering me." then I walk past him before he continues as I avoid him until we reach the throne room.

Those words make me want to throw out. My expression didn't change but remain calm.

Fall in love? Why would I? Does are a foolish thing.

You see, I never believe in it. I'm here just a business partner the marriage between me and him is nothing to me. I only do my job and I live as I am. He can do what he wants as so am I.

We arrived at the throne room. Everyone is here, the raid group. Cracker and I are standing in front of Big Mom. Honestly, I don't want to but Mama called me together with Cracker. Summarize the whole meeting just now, She told us to not disappoint her and bring victory to her once we return. I admit that her threatening is scared me to the bone. If we failed, we're dead.

After we meet her, we all went out and prepared for the launch. Everyone seems busy doing their job but doesn't have any work since I prepared earlier so I plan to visit Miss Lea and Mia. I miss them so much and Miss Lea's homemade sweets. ❤️✨✨

~Later~

"Welcome---gasp* GLACIAAA!!!" still the same as always😅. Mia ran to me then she hugs me tightly. "M-mia, I'm suffocating...". Mia is being Mia anyways.

"Oh, sorry..." she let me go as I smiled sincerely. "My, miss me already? That's fast." She burst her tears out and shouted "OF COURSE I AM!! Boohoo!!" Oh man, I need to settle her down because she draws the customers' attention and thought she's a weirdo. I pat her back as I calm her down. After calming the storm, I noticed Miss Lea walk toward us and smiled warmly.

"Hello, Miss Lea."

"Hello, my child."
