You were an assistant librarian and worked at your local library that was conveniently down the street from your apartment complex. *COUGH*the same as Ava's *COUGH*. You usually put your (h/l), (h/c), into a ponytail with two strands of hair in front, and today was no different. You soon got dressed in your white button-up with polka dots and a small black pleated skirt.

Y/N Pov: As I was walking down the street to get to the library, I felt is if there were eyes on me. I soon ignored the feeling once I got to the library. It was fairly quiet as per usual so I got up and grabbed a book for myself, I walked over to the graphic novel section because they always were quick reads that I could enjoy. I soon sat back down with my book and started skimming through the pages.
Time skip-
Y/N Pov:
Soon enough people started coming in. It was morning storytime for the kids, so I decided to read a really good graphic novel, Avatar the Last Airbender: The Search. All the children gathered around until a regular at the library Rhys sat down with them. I chuckled to myself and then started reading, most of the kids were goofing off but not Rhys, he stayed perfectly still and listened intently. He always had this fierce and focused look in his eye when thinking, it was one of the things I slowly admired about Rhys, a light scarlet hue formed on my cheeks as I made eye contact with Rhys and kept reading.
Rhys Pov:
Interesting.... so these humans have bending? Hmm fascinating, I better get this information to Asch when I get home. He kinda reminds me of that Zako (Zuko) figure. Y/N voice is very calming to listen to even if she does stutter a bit when she reads aloud, it was still nice to hear though. I looked up at Y/N and got lost in her E/C orbs. They were truly magical. I think she noticed when we made eye contact. I looked away in hopes she didn't see too much, I have to be respectful to humans if I want to learn more about them.
Y/N:
Soon enough read aloud was over. As I got up from my chair I felt someone grab my hand, to my surprise it was Rhys. "U-um can I help you?" I asked. "I just wanted to ask, are those humans like Princess Ava?" Rhys asked tilting his head like a curious puppy. "Uhhhh... well um, it's a fiction book so those people have special powers. I also hear you talk about Ava a lot. If you don't mind me asking who is she?" I asked. "Thank you, Y/n for the information this will be helpful and I live with Princess Ava," Rhy explained. "Princess?" I said confused. I knew that Jake our landlord had the feels for her but she was a princess? "Ok..... well, I am glad you enjoyed the story but Mrs.Basil needs me, be free to look around I know you love the library." I began to walk towards my boss, and give Rhy my signature nervous smile.
Rhys Pov:
This human Y/N could be of use, and she is beautiful-I mean useful! I saw her nervous smile that she has when she gets confused, I've noticed that about her. Maybe I shouldn't have been so blunt by grabbing her hand. Maybe I can get her some ice cream to make it up to her!
Mrs.Basil Pov:
That Y/N keeps talking to the Rhys boy, I'm getting real sick of it! She is one of my valued employees but with this behavior, I might have to fire her. I really do like her, but I have no choice if she keeps this up. "You see that ladder of there I want you to take this handful of books and put them on the top shelf can you do that for me?" I asked Y/N. "Yes ma' mm." Y/N nodes and walks towards the ladder.
Y/N:
I grab the handful of books and walk towards the shaky ladder. I slowly and carefully walked up the ladder to make sure not to fall. I wasn't super clumsy but I didn't wanna crack my skull open. As I was putting the books on the top shelf when I saw two little boys, they were twins. They were regulars here and I didn't really pay attention to them until they came running through the isles of books chasing after paper airplanes they made in the craft session a couple of hours ago. Mrs.Basil warned them to stop until they came running towards me. Soon I felt my body fall off the ladder. One minute I was on the ladder, the next falling to my doom. I shut my eyes to brass for impact but I didn't fall on the floor. I opened my eyes and they were met with a pair of deep blue sapphire eyes. "R-Rhys!?" I said wide-eyed. "Are you okay Y/N?"Rhys asking with concern. Rhys caught me! He was holding me bridal style. I realized how close we are and started blushing profusely. "I-I am f-fine, thank you Rhys." He set me down and I thanked him once again. "So ahem Y/n, would you like to go out for ice cream sometime?" Surprised by the question and thought before responding. "Sure, I own ya one."
