Paws and Claws - A Meowscles x Dire fanfiction

Chapter 1 - The Movie

Narrators POV, focused on Meowscles

It was a stormy day at sea, but the Yacht was almost at Apollo. Meowscles was in the captains quarters, with his hands on the wheel.

"We are about 30 nautical miles from Apollo, boss!" Meowscles yelled towards Midas, who was seated across the room.

"How long until we arrive? Also, I've already found an area to lay anchor, it's right by the islands main power source." Midas replied.

"We should arrive in about 45 minutes, and that location to anchor sounds good." Meowscles said.

"I have made plans to build a Headquarters in the center of the island. There is a small lake with a island in the middle, which is practically perfect for us. When we land, I'll send out some henchman to build the HQ." Midas told Meowscles.

"Sounds good boss." Meowscles replied.

Meowscles took a quick glance at the compass, and then the radar. He then went back to focusing on the wheel.

About  40 minutes later, Apollo was in view.

"Hey Midas, is that the island up there?" Meowscles asked.

"It should be, I'll go get the henchman ready for landfall." Midas replied as he left the room.

Meowscles hastily gripped the wheel as the boat drew closer and closer to island by the second. He estimated he should be in the anchor zone in about 2 minutes. As he drew closer to the island, he could make out the power plant Midas was talking about. He noticed it had a faint, purple aura around it, which made him feel like it wasn't the safest place, but he had to go through with Midas's plan. As he neared closer, he angled the boat into a north to south position, then when he was about 150 meters from the coast, he laid anchor. He walked over to the yacht's intercom system.

"We have just made landfall with Apollo, if you have a specific job assigned, prepare to head onto land. If not, stay on the yacht." He announced over the intercom. 

Meowscles wanted to meet some of the islands inhabitants, but he didn't know if Midas would let him. So he picked up his phone, and sent Midas a text saying "Hey boss, is it ok if I explore the island?". He received a response a few minutes later from Midas saying "Sure, just be back by 9:30, we have a meeting by then.".

Meowscles hastily grabbed some items, and then hopped into a  boat and drove out to the mainland. He hopped out on a small beach south of the power plant and made his way to the nearest road.

Dire's POV

Dire was getting ready to head over to Risky Reels for the drive in movie that was being hosted. He was hoping he'd get to meet some new people, as he heard an unknown yacht arrived earlier that day.

"I should probably get going soon, the movie's gonna start" I thought to myself. I hopped into my brand new Prevalent GG2020 and drove off. As I was driving through Salty Springs, I noticed that a team of people wearing white suits building what seemed to be some sort of Office. I then realized that these might be those "Ghost people" the Shadow soldiers told me about. I didn't think much of it, but it spiked my curiosity. 

As I made my way into Risky Reels, I noticed someone in a Whiplash. Not many people have Whiplashes, and I've never seen this one before. After I drove in and parked, I saw him, a  buff cat. He was the hottest thing I've ever seen. He looked as if he was chiseled from stone. His large biceps, his prominent pecs, his rock hard abs. God, I was instantly attracted to him. I thought that I should probably talk to him.  I made my way over to him and said;

"Hey, mind if I sit next you?" I blushed

"Oh I didn't see you there! It's fine, you cant sit here. By the way, the name's Meowscles." he said.

"Meowscles, what a sexy name."  I thought to myself. 

"Oh, my name is Dire!" I said quickly.

"I've noticed your a werewolf." Meowscles said to me.

"Heh, yeah" I blushed.

I moved my hand onto his thigh to sign to him that I liked him. I saw him blush.

"You know, your kinda hot." I said while blushing.

He blushed

"Th- Thanks, I think your kinda cute" He told me. I instantly blushed.

We proceeded to watch the movie together, all the way until the credits. As I got up, I asked him one more thing.

"What's your number? Maybe we can meet up sometime?" I said while blushing.

"Here." He handed me a piece of paper with something scribbled on it.

I blushed. When I was about to get into my car, he pulled me in for a kiss. We made out for a little bit, the we said our goodbyes as I hopped into my car and left.
