Thank you Vxcady for reminding me of the chapter update! T^T I have horrible memory.

TW!!
This is the first time I have had to put a TW in any of my stories, I think.

Tw include:
Self hate
Dysphoria
Mentions of severe Abuse and neglect
Cultural disapproval
Mention of terrorism

the listed is some of the things I fight everyday and try to recover from.
Please note that these are real and should not be ignored.
If you think someone is being abuse, I beg you to reach out to them and help them. Report the suspicion. Abuse hurts even long after it's been done, even if it last happened 10 years ago.

The world was calm and the sky was clear, the fields acting as a soft pillow for a soon-to-be mother as she watched two children ran aimlessly after each other.
The two children laughed and squealed in glee as they played without a care in the world. One was dressed in a black and red tunic, running barefoot in the soft field of dandelions and daisies. The other was dressed in black and blue, wearing a flower crown made by his friend chasing him.
The woman watched the two as she caressed her swollen tummy, feeling her baby kick.

"You are jealous you can't play too, is that right."
The Woman giggled, tracing her tattoos that lined her baby bump from years prior.
The soon-to-be mother knew that her life was going to be different when her child was born, her reckless and carefree life turning into one with the greatest honor and full of responsibility. To her, it was worth losing her freedom as a unmarked woman, becoming more important to her people and their future. She was seen as the mother of the future and the path for her people's survival, since children being born and surviving birth was rare.

She pondered about her years ahead as she gazed up into the clear sky, not one mechanical gear in sight. It was just pure nature and the raw energy from the planets core flowing through them all.

"Machem!!" Two little voices called from the field.
The two children running towards the woman with their little arms full of daises and faces filled with pride.

"We got you flowers!"
One of the boys smiled as he dropped the flowers at the woman's side.

"Oh Halo, Diam. You two boys are a mess."
The woman giggled as she saw the first boy Diam guide the other, Halo, as his face was covered by flowers.

"When is she going to be here?"
Halo asked as he placed the flowers around Machem, every now and then dusting off his red and black tunic.

"When is he going to be here?" Machem repeated, emphasizing on the 'he'.

"I'm not sure," Machem replied, ruffing up the boy's brown hair,
"But when he arrives, he will be loved by everyone, just as you were."

Halo giggled as Machem booped his nose.

"And me?"
Diam piped standing next to his best friend.

"As you were too, you dork."

The three laughed among themselves, unaware of the dark specks growing on the horizon.
Machem froze upon hearing the haunting hum of the flying machines, looking towards its origin.
