And then that night, I awoke to a strange dream. As I woke up to a similar surrounding.
Don't tell me all that was just a dream. It was just a pathetic feeling anyways. Thinking about love only gets me to dreams.
Which is annoying. Great, I have to deal with hilarious school and her. I looked at the TV to see the news, it was me there. Dead. But I'm here. Still alive.
When will I get out of this hellhole? Should've known anything wasn't for granted.
For me.
I got out of the couch and started my daily routine once again. And then here comes the time skip.
TIMESKIP
SCHOOL GATE
Hello once again Hell. Here I am. There was an event in school, a sports festival. Volleyball, Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Swimming and more.
I'm just passing by, the kids looking at me. Probably wondering why I'm alive.
Should've been me who's up there already.
"Hi sir do you want to sign up for the basketball team?" A random endorser asked.
"Sorry, no."
And then every endorser were asking if I could join them, and simply turned all of them down. I just sat on a bench waiting for the performance.
Then suddenly I thought of Sumi. Haruna Masumi. My imaginary girlfriend. From a dream.
Living a vintage life back in 1941. Now I'm back to where I 'belong'. I somehow felt I got transferred back to back then.
You shouldn't expect anything good coming from life. It'll only be disastrous.
"Oh, Jishou! What's up?" A male voice asked.
"Uh."
"It's me Jin!"
"Oh Jin, hey."
An old friend. Alright then, at least I have a friend to watch the festival with me.
TIMESKIP ALOT
The festival is already done. Jin already left, I'm left in the stadium looking at the sky. Watching as the cleaners clean the arena.
No sport caught my attention, if they had a dance comptetion I'd join, but there's none. It was so noisy a while ago.
But now it's so quiet, I'm still thinking about Sumi. What if I hadn't slept there? I would still be with her.
Life is so boring.
"It's okay." A faint voice said.
That's creepy. Who spoke? I should leave because this school is hunted.
"Mountain ridge, Saitama Ghetto." The voice said as it pinpointed a location.
"What's there?"
"Check for yourself." The voice then faded away.
Wait, that was where Sumi lived! I'll pay a visit to her. Who knows?
SAITAMA GHETTO MOUNTAIN RIDGE
The ramen place we visited were torn down, the place was a complete mess, but a steady structure stays alive.
Haruna Masumi's House. And there, is her grave. So she actually was alive?
