"Guys this isn't a science class but let's talk about the theory of magnetism. All magnets have north and south poles. Opposite poles are attracted to each other, while the same poles repel each other, imagine the theory of magnetism as 'love', both of you are the south pole, you like the same food, you have the same opinion, your insights in life, same taste and same personality. How do you think will happen?"

"Hoy Theone, how do you think will happen daw sabi ni miss Caña!" Yvone whispered, she covered her face with a logbook, she pretend she's reading it para 'di sya mahalata ni Miss Caña, she surely know I might put into trouble if I rollback the question.

I was standing at my co-worker as they gathered around me waiting for me to answer that brainteaser. I'm still not used in talking in front of people with unfamiliar faces, my lips had gone dried from the thought that I might bring myself into humiliation.

"uhh.. uhm.." I stuttered.

Masyado ako nadi-distract sa lalaking nasa likod ni miss Caña. Is Ellie still mad at me? I have no idea I can't read his mind. The danger that awaits his uncontrollable emotions was put me into hold. A loud pounding from my heartbeats and a muffled echoing around the area was being drawn into my nerves.

I took a deep breath aiming to utter a word. "For me Miss Caña it's totally cool because.. you never argue or.. have any fights, it is because you understand each others.. opinion." I took a quick glanced at Ellie na mukhang may malalim na iniisip.

"Does anyone agree with him?" Miss Caña looked around sensing someone could potentially contradict my response. I saw some of my workmates nodded, some gave me a teasing smile and some got confused.

"Oh yes Ellie? I mean Mr. Cueva?" he sighted him when he raised his hand, his smile was giving me chills he already knew he would come to oppose my statement.

He stood up. "Uhm.. Miss Caña it is truly unhealthy in a relationship because both of you will never learn about your differences and disagreements with each other's life, it is important.. and in every relationship needs it for balance of being together. Just like the magnet as you were saying, same pole repel each other. I'm sure most of you will agree right?"

Everyone nodded, yung iba binigyan pa siya ng thumbs up, yung iba na nag agree sakin kanina tumango na din. Mga balingbing din 'to.

Tintin stood up "Yes, let's all admit it, walang perfect relationship no matter how in love the two of you. There are couples who are perfectly mismatched but still happy and having a good and contented life sa feeling ng isa't-isa. Just like the theory of magnetism, opposites poles are attracted to each other." she exclaimed.

I was about to say something to defend my answer but Ellie raised his hand again pertaining me to stop.

He stared at me full of compassion like he always does. "So what if I'm your south pole Theone? Yet you are busy finding your north?"
