"Finally, my unico hijo is here"

My mom waved her hand together with her big smile as I walked towards her.

Wearing a black casual fitted tuxedo with white v-neck shirt underneath, paired with a black slack pants looked good at me considering I have to attend from these boring event.

She's waving her right hand at me while lowkey tapping her left hand at the chair beside her pertaining to sit to her side, she was facing my dad na kausap si tito Rico, related sa business ata or about their hidden agenda ang pinag uusapan nila which is  alam ko kung ano.

"Where have you been? Don't tell me you just woke up? nakakahiya kina tito't tita mo, where's your manner? Now go greet them." my mom and her nagging always makes me sighed and rolled my eyes, not again.

Manner? Marami ako niyan baka sila ang wala nun. I murmured to myself. Nagging was always part of my daily existence.

"Theone, anak sembreak na sembreak why don't you hangout with your cousins over there." she points at my cousins from another table. Their gazed was issuing a disgusting look at our table which was not a good sign.

"eew" I muttered.

Wala akong balak makipag plastikan sa kanila, napaka yabang nila trying to brag about their wealth. I obviously hate them if I'm just being honest.

It's around 5:30pm and we are at the reception venue, di na ako umabot sa wedding ceremony. Given from the fact na ayoko lang talaga umattend kung hindi lang sinabi ni mommy na kukunin nya yung kotse ko and she'll cut off my credit card, hindi na sana ako sumipot. No choice eh. I mean my parent truly spoiled me kung anong mga gusto ko, but they're using everything they give to control me, like a puppet.

If only I am capable enough to live on my own terms. Kaso second year college palang ako, madami pa akong kelangang kaining bigas to prove my worth. Sobrang taas din kasi ng expectations nila sakin from the mere fact that I'm gonna handle our furniture business. Which is totally fine naman sakin.

In all fairness masyadong pinaghandaan ng corrupt kong tito 'tong kasal ng anak niya. The interior design was not bad at all it suits to my taste of style. The area looks like a dome, sobrang taas ng ceiling it  filled with a lots of white and pink flower encircling the area. The style of architecture was like gothic from the pointed arches and vaulting, This place cost a lot I must say.

They came from a well known family kaya madaling napasok ni tito ang politika. But there's a lot of talks and gossip about his administration, daming projects ang natengga because of his corruption 'daw' as many peoples talks about. I mean ako mismo nakarinig na ipapaayos niya and ipapa-renovate yung old train dito sa city as his campaign advocacy, it is still the government's property afterall. It's the best way of transportation ng mga residente dito, masyado kasing hassle kung mag je-jeep o bus pa sila, mas mahal ang pamasahe.

Araw-araw nalang atang may nag ra-rally sa munisipyo or tapat ng bahay nila about that issue, technically nasa isang subdivision lang kasi kami. Well, I have my problems to deal with as if naman may magagawa ako considering na wala pa akong napapatunayan.

Pero naka ilang termino na si tito yet wala paring aksyon tungkol dito, asang asa mga residente dito by all his promises, di niya parin na fla-flatten yung curve. The train was literally old and rusty, from the railings to the stations, there's even a lot of malfunctioning issue about it.
