Reminiscent Love

The Question

Ever since we left the mall I've been feeling kind of left out and insecure and its been almost 3 months But I'm never jealous i'm happy for my bestiess!

We've barely been spending time together but not as much as we usually would .... well at least not as much as we would before they found their mates..

But schools about to start back again me and my besties are seniors in high school, we attend Shadow High. Its a normal high school except its a boarding school to anyone who chooses.

I might just stay at school this year, I thought..

"CHARLOTTEE" !!!! Adena yelled at me

"Yes? Why are you yelling"? I asked.

You've been zoned out for the past 15 minutes are you okay? Jamilah asked me. I quickly replied "Yes". I hadn't even noticed I was zoned out for that long.

"What were we talking about?" I asked.

"We were talking about what were wearing tomorrow for school." I made an"O" shaped face. I walked over to Adena's closet and picked out this grey t-shirt with these ripped light blue jeans, red socks and some grey and white jordan 12s. Then I went to Jamilah's closet and picked out this pinafore dress with a long white shirt and a white purse and some slip on white vans.

"There problem solved  Im leaving I will pick yall up in the am." I said. "Actualllyy Liam and Jake offered us rides and we accepted." Adena said. "O bye" and with that I left.

I ran to my spot (the picture ^^) and jumped in the water and shifted and just swam for hours. Our traditions for 17 years have flushed down the drain because of their mates, I have already been forgotten I guess. My mom mindlinked me, "Charlotte Jasmine Parker where the he** are you its been four hours since you left Adena's house!" she said.

"Im sorry mom I was at my spot Im coming now can you leave me clothes in front of the house I kinda shredded mines." I asked. She said yes and then I cut of link.

The water seperated as I walked out the water. I thought I was just imagining so I tried to make a wall of water and It worked.

"WHAT THE H*LL!" I said and i walked out and started to run home. I shifted and put on the clothes mom left by the door.

I ran inside spoke to mom and went up to my room. I was thinking about what happened in the cave and I guess I must've fell asleep. I woke up and smelled dinner, and I went downstairs. And to my suprise I saw Adena and Jamiliah sitting at the table.

What are they doing here? I asked my mom.

"I invited them Charlotte." she said.

I laughed at her, "Well since you invited them, you entertain them. Im eating upstairs." and with that I walked off, I ignored all the shouts and put up a wall to block out the mind links.

I finished eating and made sure the kitchen was empty before I went down and washed my plate. I went back up to my room and got ready for my last first day tomorrow. I took a shower and washed my hair and then got out. I then brushed my teeth and did my routine and then I went and layed down. I scrolled on insta for a while and felt myself drifting off to sleep.

I woke up and shut off my alarm it was 6:45 am school doesn't start till 8:30. I got up and made my bed and then went to the bathroom. I got in the shower and washed up by time I got out it was 7:15.. 30 minutes in the shower I laughed it felt like 15. I then went to do my hair i decided to do a soft curled look on my red hair. By time I finished everything it was 7:40, so I decided to get dressed.

After everything was done the time check was 8:00. I went downstairs to make myself something to eat, mom was there she glared at me then walked away I looked in the other direction and got a apple and made some eggs and sausage I ate that and then went back upstairs to get the rest of my things. I grabbed my phone, airpods, school bag, and my car keys.

Time check it was 8:10, I told my mom and dad bye and I left out the house. I started driving to the school and I made it there with 15 minutes to spare.

I went to find my locker and I see Adena and Jamiliah have the lockers on the other sides of me so im in the middle. They were going to speak but Liam and Jake walked up and kissed them on their cheeks.

"Save the trouble im going to get a new locker bye" and I walked away and left them in the comforting arms of their mates.

I walked towards the office untill I heard the warning bell ring and I made a mental note to go to the office on my free period or my lunch which ever comes first. I made my way to 1st period anatomy and took my seat in the back of the class.

This class was going to be a favorite of mines. At the end of the class 45 minutes had passed. He then proceeded to hand out the forms for class changes and board requests. I filled it out and then I got to the question.

Will I be moving into the school or staying at home? I thought.

I marked the box labeled moving in to the school and turned it in.
