Chapter 9

The ender egg is placed on the table as everyone looks at it. Dream looks at everyone and asked, "so.. What are we going to do with is?"

"We can cook it!" Tubbo exclaimed.

"No Tubbo we can not cook the dragon, " Wilbur says as he let out a sigh.

You went there as you try placing your hand on it but Dream stop you by holding back your hand, "don't touch it. It might teleport away, " he said as he put down your hand.

You nod at him as Fundy also went closer, "so, " he started making you flinch. "Are we just going to leave this here?" He asked.

You shook your hand, "someone responsible has to keep it. We cannot let anyone use the dragon's power, " you said to him.

"But wouldn't be cool if we have a dragon as our pet?" Fundy asked as he beginning to have thoughts about training a dragon.

"Yeah but also dangerous, it might go berserk." You said placing your hand on the egg making Dream flinch but relax as the egg didn't vanish. "For an egg, it's kind of warm, " you mumble.

Fundy's ears perk up, "I mean isn't purple flames hotter than the blue ones or am I just stupid?...” He asks as he scratches the back of his head. "We should keep that as a pet, " he suggests again.

"We can't, " you let out a sigh. "Where are we going to put the dragon when it grows up? There are so many building here in Manberg, plus people from outside might know." You said as you look at him.

"Why would the people from outside know? Wouldn't the people will be fearing the dragon?" Fundy asks you as he also places a hand on the egg.

Dream's sweatdrop at the sight, how he wishes he is in Fundy's place. "People might try killing it, people are greedy, Fundy." You said to him. "I'm not sure on what's the dragons gender but if it's a female it might kay another egg."

"Then we'll protect it!" He exclaimed, " then we could bring him back to the end." He said as he held off that proud smirk.

"How is a dragon could fit into a stronghold?" You questioned him.

"We just have to mine the area I suppose, " he says.

"That would take a lot of time, " Dream says as he decided to go between in your conversation.

Everyone sigh in relief, they almost look at a couple fighting for their children's future. The two of you look at them in confusion. You just sigh then you feel something below your hand as Fundy removed his.

"The egg is cracking!" You exclaimed as you step back away from the egg and so does everyone.

"Are we going to have to jump from this building?!" Sapnap exclaimed as the egg continues to crack.

A few seconds later, the egg burst out a bright light almost blinding all of you as it let out a hard gush of wind.  You close your eyes shut as everyone groan at the intense brightness.

"Do you remember me?" Your eyes are wide at the mysterious voice as a scene flashback to your mind.

You were fourteen at the time as you are holding a water bucket in the middle of the lake in the middle of the forest. A cloaked figure suddenly appears as they have had an arrow to their chest.

"Who are you?" You asked the person.

"... They called me Death, " they responded.

You slowly opened your eyes as people are calling your name repeatedly. You found yourself in the arms of Fundy, "what happened?" You mumble to him.

"You fainted, " Dream says as he kneels beside you as he gave you water. You thank him as you slowly drink it, "there's no dragon." Dream says making you almost choke on your water. "There's no dragon, " he repeated. "There's only eggshells and dust inside." He said to you.

"I was upset when I found out, " Fundy says beside you as he lifts you up on your feet. Your legs wobbled a bit ad Dream supported you by holding your arms.

He let out a short wheeze, " it just like a baby trying to walk, " he said.

"Or you just finish having se-" Quackity shoves cupcakes on his mouth, shutting him up.

The door was suddenly slammed open, "sorry I'm  late." A tall man breath out. Curly hair as he also wears a crown.

"Eret!" Fundy exclaimed.

He looks up as you see his glasses shined a bit. "Hello there, " he says. "I feel like the White House became a lighthouse for a moment so I came here as fast as I could." His eyes then landed on you. "Who's this pretty fella?" He asks.

"I'm far from being pretty, " you said as you grip Dream's arm as you try to steady yourself. Dream looks like he's calm but on the inside he is:

"What nonsense is that?" He says as he walks towards you as he holds your hand and kisses the top of it. "You're one of the most beautiful people that I've ever seen."

You look at him in awe then that ended when Wilbur smack him on the back as he grips him on the shoulder, " enough flirting for today!" Wilbur chuckled, slightly annoyed. [Your brother side is showing Wilbur-//slapped]

Eret's sweatdrop as he removes Wilbur's hand from his shoulder. "Hello to you too Wilbur, " he greeted him with a smile.

Suddenly George and Sapnap came barging down the door as they breathe heavily, Drema walks towards them, "breath, what happened?"  He asks them.

Sapnap takes deep breathing before exclaiming, "We found something!"

Third-person POV

Surprisingly some of them followed the two as they keep saying to hurry up. It's in the middle of the night, yet no mobs or creatures of the night have spawned. They arrived at their destination as they stood there in awe or fright. They see a large hole with a landscape on the bottom, they see an altar leading to a polish cuboid stone, guarded by a bunch of animals.

The knight stood there and mumble to herself, "what's going on?" Oh boy, things get crazier each time pass.
