Y/N's pov The next day I woke up, memories of yesterday flashed through my mind. I suddenly become happy. I was wondering what we are gonna do today when suddenly there was a knock on my door. I flinched but I quickly got dressed and opened the door. I saw Zuo standing there. "Morning!" I greeted. "Morning!" He greeted back, "so my friend is coming over today. Do you mind if she says here with us?" "Oh umm I don't mind." I replied. "Great she will arrive in the next 15mins." He said as he walked away. Who is his friend? Is it a boy or a girl? I shook my head to clear my mind. 5mins later I went downstairs for breakfast. Good thing we bought food yesterday. I opened the fridge and grabbed milk then I opened the cabinet and grabbed cereal. I poured them in and started eating my breakfast. A little while later Zuo came downstairs and had breakfast with me. We were chatting until a doorbell rang. "Oh that must be my friend!" He exclaimed as he went to open the door. "Hey!" His friend greeted. Great! By that soft voice I'm sure it's a girl. "Come in" he said as he moved from the door to let her in. As she came in I saw her. She was literally so perfect and there's no way I could compete with her. "This is Y/N, my friend and Y/N this is my friend from another city Ling Ling." Zuo explained. "Nice to meet you, Y/N! You can call me Ling!" She greeted cheerfully. "Nice to meet you too!" I greeted back. "Y/N, I'm going to show Ling the guest room and we can all go out." Zuo said as he walked away. I went to my room and decided to change into something warm.

Once I got ready I went downstairs and waited for Zuo and ling. I heard chatting and laughter and I knew who they exactly were Zuo and ling. I couldn't help but feel jealous but I managed to calm myself down. I took a glance at ling coming downstairs with Zuo. She was ✨heather✨.

We all walked outside. It was freezing. Ling was clinging on zuo's arm. Even though it was cold outside I felt my blood boiling. Clam down Y/N she's just his friend. "Zuooo I'm hungry I want ice cream!" She pouted cutely to get his attention. "Okay let's go. Y/N do you want to come with us?" Zuo asked me. "No thanks I'll just sit here." I replied. "Okay then stay safe." He replied as he walked away. I smiled at his words. I sat on the bench and rested my head. I felt sleepy and depressed so I closed my eyes for a short while.
Ling's pov I've had a crush on Zuo since we met and now this girl is in our way!? Ugh this is so frustrating! But at least I get to go get ice cream with Zuo alone. "Which flavor do you want miss?" The ice cream man asked me. "I would like some strawberry and chocolate chip please, thanks!" I replied, "Zuo aren't you gonna get ice cream?" "Nope you can have it." "Okie!" I exclaimed. I got my ice cream and we walked back to Y/N. Ugh I don't even want to see her face.
Y/N's pov I heard footsteps so I quickly opened my eyes to watch if ling and Zuo were coming back. I saw ling with an ice cream in her hand she licked it. I stare at those two. They look like they could be a cute couple. Ahhh Y/N what are you thinking don't give up easily. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I saw Zuo licking her ice cream. I felt like my heart shattered into a million pieces. My eyes started to water. I quickly wiped my tears away as they got closer. "Hey Y/N!" Zuo said as he ran to me. "Hey..." I said. "Are you okay? What happened? Did you cry?!" Zuo asked worriedly. "No, something went in my eye and I'm fine." I replied. "Good to hear that." Zuo said relieved. "Zuo I think I'm gonna go back home first." I said. "Is something wrong?" He questioned. "No I just remembered that I had something to do." I answered. "Do you need a ride home?" Zuo asked. "No no it's fine stay with Ling." I answered with a fake smile. "Oh ok we'll follow you later then, bye." Zuo said. I waved them bye and started walking towards our apartment. At this moment I couldn't hold my tears in anymore so I let them out. Tear droplets slide down my cheeks onto the cold ground.
Zuo hang's pov I watch as Y/N walked away. "Zuo can we go to the amusement park?" Ling asked as she nudged me. "Sure let's go." I replied. I don't feel complete when Y/N isn't with me. Ling and I walked to the amusement park and went on some rides. "Zuo are you okay? You seem to not be enjoying the rides?" Ling asked. I didn't want to upset Ling so I answered, "I enjoy the rides it's just that I'm not feeling well." "Oh then let's go back to the apartment." Ling suggested. "Ok let's go..." I replied. We both walked to the car and I drove back to the apartment. I opened the door for Ling to enter. I didn't see Y/N so she must be in her room. I sat on the couch in the living room and Ling sits beside me. Ling scoots closer to me. I didn't think it was weird b cause she was my friend so I just sit there. I saw Ling glanced at something but I didn't see what it was. "I love you Zuo hang." Ling suddenly confesses. I was shocked at her confession. I just saw her like a friend and a little sister. I didn't want to make her upset but I also can't let her hopes up.
Ling's pov I sat next to Zuo on the couch. I glanced at something and saw Y/N in the corner so I decided to confess to Zuo in front of her.
Y/N's pov I heard the door open so Ling and Zuo must be back. I was going to greet them. They were on the couch. I noticed that ling scooted closer to Zuo. I was of course jealous. I saw ling glance at my direction so I quickly backed away. I hope she didn't see me. "I love you Zuo hang." Ling suddenly confesses. My heart sank. Maybe Zuo also liked her back. I didn't listen to zuo's response and quietly ran away while crying. I already knew his answer they were friends for a longer time than me and Zuo besides she's prettier. I cried all night due to love... That's why I didn't want to fall for anyone... I didn't want to take a risk...
