Yibo was daydreaming when Lu came to see him. Lu caressed Yibo's head to get his attention. She loves Yibo as much as his brother. She was the one who took care of him after his parents death. Yibo has been suffering since childhood. Growing up without parents at an early age is not easy. She witnessed how much pain he went through.

It's hard to bear the pain of being born as a wolf and not being able to shift. He had to experience that too. Even Pack members mocked him, adding salt to his wound. No matter how weak he was, he endured all of this. She is so proud about Yibo. But Who will take care of him when she leaves with her mate? Will Yibo's mate take care of him? She was so worried. Painful expressions plastered on her beautiful face.

"Jie, how many times have I told you that looks won't fit your beautiful face?" Wang Yibo complained.

"What's with your sweet talk Bo?" Lu giggled.

"Let's go home? Ok? I can't stay here anymore. I'm so bored!!" Yibo said while playing with his fingers.

Lu pinched Yibo's cheek. "Stop whining like a child. You need to heal before you go home! Don't be stubborn."

"But Jie I'm fine now. Can't you see I'm healthy and strong like a lion! No worries... Let's go home ma?" Yibo reasoned himself.

"I can see that. You're our little lion after all." Lu smiled while patting his head.

Suddenly Yibo went silent and hugged her tightly. His mother called him by that name. Lu assumed that the latter recalled his old memories. She rubbed his back to soothe him. Yibo broke the hug and looked at her with puppy eyes.

"Please Jie, let's go home! I can't stay here."

Lu left a sigh. Ok! I'll go and talk to the healer.

"There is no need. I'm here." Main healer approached them with Yibo's report.

Mr. Kim is the main pack healer. He has been working here for almost twenty years. So he knows about Yibo very well. Yibo is like his daily customer. Yibo comes to the hospital four or five times a month with broken ribs and purple bruises.

"This is your last time young man! If you come here like this again I'll personally inform the alpha about this. He is your legal guardian. You should tell him about this or I will!" Mr. Kim sternly advised Yibo.

Lu looked at Yibo sadly. How can Yibo complain about this? His bully is Alpha's son after all. Yibo gave her a soft smile.

"Ok! Ok! This is the last time.. I never come here again like this"

"You said the same thing the last two times. But you came here with more injuries than ever"

"I'll be careful this time! Now stop whining like an old man!" Yibo stuck his tongue and ran out.

"You brat! Come here! Who is old?" Mr. Kim shouted at Yibo.

"This kid will never change," Mr. Kim said while shaking his head.

"Mr. Kim, how is Yibo's condition? Can he go home?" Lu broke the silence.

"Yes. He can. But surprisingly in the last time his body took more time for healing than this time. His injuries healed with double speed this time. It's not as fast as a normal wolf but it's an improvement for his condition. I don't know about this surely but I think his wolf genes are activating." Mr. Kim said while stroking his chin.

"What do you mean by that? Lu asked, surprised.

"Actually I don't even know about it either. If his wolf genes get fully activated he can shift. But it's just a guess."

"It would be nice if that happened, but we're not sure about this. So please don't tell him about this. I can't see his broken state again." Lu said with a painful expression.

"I thought the same. Let's see how his fate handles this. Every dark cloud has a silver lining after all. His good time will arrive soon. You should go back now. I think that brat is so impatient out there." Mr. Kim smiled at Lu.

"I hope that too. I'm taking my leave then." Yanli bid farewell to him and went to Yibo.
