Mini Author Note: Each Chapter is comprised up of around 10 mini chapters, and they are sometimes told in different POV's (which is why it says Elias's name up there after the number, it's his POV). So at around 10: Elias or 10: Anne, I will have it up in the Title that signifies the Chapter 2. Anyway, enjoy!

Elias woke up to the sound of creaking metal. Must be the old pipes, he thought. He stood out of bed and walked to the window, like he always did. He saw something unexpected. A mass of blue, white, and green was hurtling towards Erythia at a high speed. Incidentally, everybody was leaning against the windows in the houses below to figure it out.

"Mayday! Mom! Dad!" but they were still fast asleep. Elias braced for impact, and ran inside a metal tube. It teleported him immediately to a safe, stronghold, which was thousands of miles below the house.

As the other planet started spinning closer and closer, something interesting happened. It was repelled, as if by an invisible force. Of course, because Erythia was trapped in a pocket dimension. He learned that many, many years ago. But that did not deny that he wanted to be free from Erythia.

So trapped he was, for such a long time that he yearned to be free for such a long time. He was bored of simple Erythia. Of course, not simple in any way, but he thought that simply one glimpse of the world outside would do him good. He would be in and out before anybody else knew. Grabbing a silver spacesuit, he prepared to open the window. He needed a good wind and he needed to disable gravity around him so he could float.

Inside a leather-bound case with ancient floral patterns, he pulled it out. A golden and bronze rod, which he held up to the light.

It hummed with power, yearning to be sent free. One of the only valuable possessions within Elias's family, he felt slightly guilty for stealing it. Yet it had so much power that he needed it if he wanted to make this escape work.

He had been training with a small Mahogany rod of his own, given from the school, but that had so little power. This had so much more. With a quick swipe to the right in a star pattern, a blue cage of magic surrounded him.

"Wait Elias, stop!" his mother shouted but it was too late.

"Ateratinum!" he shouted, and with a bright light, he disappeared in the silver suit. He heard his mother curse, then rush to the phone to call the government. Damn, Elias thoughts, they would chase me soon. However powerful his family rod was, he was sure the government had more powerful ones in stock.

Elias wasn't one of the most powerful mage for nothing though. People like him only came around in every one hundred years. Additionally, he had magic born inside him. This made him more powerful and in tune to the magic.

As soon as he touched down on the landing port, the government officials were in front of him, with their rods out.

"I don't want a fight, I-" he was cut off by another government official.

"Do the wise thing, kid, and go back to your family."

"Or else we might have to take you into custody."

Elias had had enough. "Duoza Protecto!" Twin shields that appeared to be made of yellow light appeared in front of Elias and combined into a bubble that Elias stepped into, shielding him from the government officials spells.

The rod he was holding, which was called, Power of the Flower, seemed to glow with something from within. (All family rods had names, according to which family they were). They were part of the Flower Class, Division IV.

That was the reason why he was able to hold off the government officials, technically, his ancestors and family had a higher rank than them which meant the wand was made with better materials and could contain more power.

"He is too powerful!" shouted one of the government officials. His rod was snapped in half as the shield expanded outwards. With no effort at all. the shield morphed into wings and Elias jumped up into the air, gliding effortlessly despite the bulky spacesuit and the difficulty to hold the magic and contain it.

"Finitus!" all the government officials who had rods shouted (which were solely two, the other six had their rods either snapped or destroyed). One of the beams missed Elias completely, but another hit Elias and he fell to the floor, albeit unharmed. His wings dissipated, and the government officials picked him up and transported him home.
