Ch 21

Steve POV
I woke up with my head on Billy's chest I sighed and got up. We had school today and had to go back to our hating each other thing we had. I woke him up and I left with my phone and everything else I brought.

I entered my house and got ready while taking a little to style my hair. I got up and left to head to the school. I went into my car and was about to pick up Nancy as I usually do. When she called me I picked up and said.

Steve: Yo nanc what's up?
Nancy: not much, you coming to pick me up?
Steve: as usual
Nancy: okay well can we pick up Jonathan on the way
Steve: whatever
Nancy: thanks
I sighed and hung up, I didn't necessarily hate the kid. It was just that he stole Nancy from me before I knew I was gay. I headed out and decided to get Jonathan first. He was closer than Nancy.

I stopped in front of his house and waited for about five minutes before honking and yelling in.

Steve: YO! Byers you comin?
I called, when I heard the door close he sat in the passenger seat. With all his stuff flowing out of his hands. He sighed in annoyance and apologized for messing up my car.

Steve: don't apologize it's fine let's go get Nancy
He just nodded and continued to try and pick up all his stuff.

Steve: Byers chill out okay it's fine
I said seeing as he was slightly starting to panic.

I stopped in the side of the road and helped him pick up his stuff.

Jonathan: thanks Harrington.....
He mumbled I just nodded and we went and picked up Nancy.

Nancy: thanks Steve
She said and sat behind Jonathan. I was tempted to tell her about the weekend I had had. But decided against it.
