*Kyo's POV*

After school I went to train at the Dojo, like I have been doing three times a week. I trained hard, but I could feel something was coming, something in my bones told me so. I feel it deeply.

I started making my way home after saying good-bye to Master, the sun setting into the horizon in the late afternoon. My stomach growled loudly, and i was anxious to get home and eat some dinner, I was starving!

Walking up to the front door I could hear voices talking amongst each other in the living room. "I'm sure he'll recognize you, you both-" I heard Yuki's voice start to say something about me and I walked right into the living room.

"Recognize who?" I asked, interrupting him, looking about the room. I stopped to look at a strange girl sitting down at the table. She looked rather unhealthy, skin and bones, but her dark vibrant red hair and unique eyes that was one dark amber and one crystal blue, they both felt strange and familiar. "Who is this?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at this girl, even though it felt wrong to ask, it felt like I should've known the answer. As soon as I asked my question I could see the anger and rage flash deep in her eyes.

This girl quickly stood up quickly to her feet, her head bowed away from me so I couldn't see her face. "I'm no one, I'm nothing" those words she spoke pierced my chest like a bullet. Darkness started swallow her up as I watched her, her mouth move as she spoke to Yuki. I couldn't hear what she was saying as this weird wave of guilt wash over me.

She then began to walk past me, and I had to know who she was, so i found myself reaching and grabbing onto her wrist. "Hey, you didn't answer my question" I said irritatingly, but what happened next took me completely off guard. I watched as I saw her swing her fist and felt it collide with my jaw that sent me flying backwards onto the floor. Pain radiated my jaw, but it was only a little punch. I looked up to see the horror on the girl's face as she bolted out of the house, and I was too stunned to move.

I sat there, right where I fell, touching my cheek with one hand as I stared at the spot where she stood. Shock took over me. Yuki quickly went to see if she was still in the yard, and then I heard a deep sigh from Yuki that told me she was long gone. Yuki came back, his eyes staring at me with more hate than usual, but he just walked right past me, he didn't even acknowledge me.

I still sat there puzzled as Tohru then came in. "Kyo? Are you okay?" She asked as she ran around the table and looked at my face. "Did you and Yuki get into another fight?"

I shook my head at her "that girl punched me' I stated, still staring at where she once stood.

"Do you remember her?" Tohru questioned as she patched up my bruised cheek with a bandage.

I looked at Tohru and furrowed my eyebrows, feeling conflicted. "She seems familiar, but I don't know why" I admitted, even when she hit me it rang with familiarity.

Tohru smiled that sweet smile of hers as she said "then that's all that matters, memories are funny like that, they'll come back sooner or later"

Dinner was rather awkward with both Shigure and Yuki shooting their disappointing glares in my direction. I felt my anger rise as I slammed my fist onto the table. "If you both are so mad that I don't remember, then tell me who she is damnit" I yelled, looking between the two of those idiots.
