"Starting over, in theory , its simple , you put the past behind you , take what you learned and begin again. But it's not as easy as it sounds. Moving on means letting go. Things that are familiar to us , easy , safe , things that matter. Someone once said: "you can't go home again." I hope like hell that they were wrong"

Alexia began to gain consciousness. She sits up in her bed, looking around at her surroundings. She was safe. She was home. She began to walk around the room she has at the Salvatore boarding school. The only reason she ever stayed here is because the Gilbert house wasn't fully rebuilt yet, so she hasn't seen it in a while. There was one picture that was tacked to a bulletin board. The only picture she has with her parents. A smile slightly grows.

"Oh good you're finally awake." Elena smiled as she walked into her room with a tray of breakfast.

"How long?"

"Well, Katherine possessed you for about a week. You've been yourself, kind of, for a few  days. How are you feeling, I know how it is, not fun at all."

Alexia smiled. "I'm actually feeling pretty normal."

Elena set the food down at her table. "Listen, I had to make a decision that I didn't want to make but. I didn't listen to Damon when he said something bad was going to happen so. I owe it to you."

"What's wrong?"

"Well there's this school, all the way in London. A wizards school. Only people who have magic can enter. It'll be safe."

"Woah. London? That's a big change."

Elena smiled and wiped Alexia's dark hair from her face. "I think change will be a good thing for you. Plus, if she tries to get you again, she can't. You will be nice and safe."

"Sounds good to me. When am I going anyways?"

"November first."

Alexia's smile faded slightly.

Elena sighed and smiled at her, tilting her head slightly. "You'll be okay my Phoenix. You'll thrive in the new beginnings, it's what you're parents would've wanted."

A kiss was placed on her forehead and she watched as Elena walked out into the corridor.

"To change." Alexia whispered as she lied back down, looking up at the blank ceiling.

With the cold wooden floors creaking beneath her feet, Alexia walked around her dormitory, in her own mind as she packed her many luggages for her move to London.
