Quinn's POV
I've liked Lanii for a while now, but I don't think she feels the same way. On the first day she walks in and she's as beautiful as ever. Her shiny brown curls dropping right below her collar bone and her deep soulful brown eyes. What more could a guy ask for? As the teacher took the attendance I see Lanii look at Brae, I wonder if they know each other..? "How was yall summers?" Mery asks. "It was eventful." I say in a sarcastic tone. Lanii goes and invites Brae over to our table. "Hey Brae!" Mery says in an enthusiastic tone. "Do you know them?" I asked Mery making sure nobody else could hear me. "Brae? Oh, they're new around town. They moved from Europe." Mery said with a smile. To be honest I got kinda jealous of Brae, stealing all of Lanii's attention.
