(Y/n) just stood there and looked at him and his now syrup covered clothes. She internally gagged because she honestly hated the smell of syrup.
   "Well aren't you just a treat.." she said sarcastically.

3rd P.O.V.

(Y/n) now sat on the couch regretting her life choices. She probably should've just let him starve. Now the stupid elf was quite literally bouncing off the walls. Apparently, he wasn't given sugar at home because he would get really hyper.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

God he's really annoying. He smells too..the smell of syrup is revolting. It's honestly giving me a headache along with his constant yelling. Ugh..is he ever going to stop..?
"Stop." I mumbled. Ben stopped in front of me and just stared into my soul. He leaned down and got really close to my face. All of a sudden my face felt hot and I scooted back into the couch as far as I could. He stopped mere centimeters in front of me and BURPED IN MY FACE?!
Okay I'm officially over this.

3rd P.O.V.

(Y/n) got up from her seat and just walked to where he would jump next. She was looking at him the entire time and had noticed a pattern in his seemingly sporadic movements.
The chains around his hands were still attached and she waited for the right moment.
Ben came flying to the wall and at the same time, (y/n) grabbed the chain used for dragging him around and yanked him down on the floor with all of her strength.
He fell face first and didn't move until (y/n) had tried to see if he was okay. He tried to get up again saw that the chain had been tied around the staircase.
"Hey! (Y/n)! Let me go! I wanna do something!" He yelled, tugging hardly on the chains.
"No. You're too loud and you're making a mess. So just sit and be quiet." (Y/n) mumbled.
"Huh?! I can't hear you! Speak up girly!" Ben yelled again. He honestly couldn't hear her because of the buzzing in his head but he also wanted to mess with her and hopefully get a reaction out of her.
Hearing those words brought memories that (y/n) didn't even know she had and brought up flashbacks when private tutors came to teach her. They couldn't hear her because she was so quiet, and hearing those words again made her stomach churn with anxiety and ticked her off all at once.
"I said that you're too loud and you—" Ben interrupted her.
"What!? I can't hear you!" Ben hollered, despite (y/n) being right in front of him.
(Y/n) raised her voice a little more and even got closer, all while trying to keep calm. She was almost at her breaking point but she had to keep her cool.
"Ben, I said to be—" He interrupted her again! He didn't understand why but he liked the way she said his name and wanted her to say it again.
"I SAID I can't hear you!" He chuckled with a mocking tone, hoping to hear her say his name.
She finally had enough. She grabbed him by his ear and he let out a weird noise, like he was trying to strain something, and she brought him down to her eye level.
"I said to be quiet." She threatened in a low tone. She looked him dead in the "eyes" and Ben could see her upper lip curled into a snarl.

Ben's P.O.V.

God..when did I become so powerless against her? I could've sworn I had the upper hand here...has she always been this pretty?
Nah. It's probably my adrenaline but..why is it so hot in here?
..
She's really close to me..I should say something. Something that'll throw her off.
"I-I..uhm..c-can you uh-can you—" Jesus Christ I can't even form a sentence..why'd she have to pull my ear anyways? Doesn't she know it hurts and feels weird in a good way?
"Hm? I can't hear you." Crap..now I'm screwed.
"Speak up." I-..did she just..use my words against me?

3rd P.O.V.

"I said t-to-" Ben started but (y/n) interrupted him.
"Don't interrupt me." (Y/n) spoke with a dangerous tone.
Ben gulped and gripped his own shirt in his hands. (Y/n) tugged on his ear again and Ben yelped.
"Hey! Stop doing that!" Ben exclaimed, red and pink blossoming on his cheeks.
"Or what?" (Y/n) questioned, pulling his ear again.
"I'll-I'll.." Ben stuttered and looked away, trying to think of a fast response.
(Y/n) let go of his ear and sat back down on the couch in peace.

Ben's P.O.V.

"Hey look at that.." (y/n) snickered. "I got you to shut up without raising my voice." She teased. I just sat down next to the stairwell silently, a chill going up my spine and spreading to my arms and legs.
Did it get cold all of a sudden? (Y/n) seems fine..but it was really hot when she was near me..
..
It's cold..I'M cold. Maybe if I hug myself I'll be warm again..
...
No. It's not the same.
I bet she's warm.

I leaned my head back in the wall and looked over at (y/n). I wonder if she felt it too. That weird spark thing.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

Why does it feel like someone's burning holes into my head?
..
Uhm anyways.
I wonder what that noise was.
I shouldn't have pulled his ear though..I should apologize later.

3rd P.O.V.

The tension that hung in the air was so obvious you could probably see it.

Ben sat in the corner staring at (y/n) with wide "eyes" and dilated "pupils".

(Y/n) sat on the couch engrossed in a gamer magazine that showed the newest Nintendo switch game that comes out next month. She remembered donating to the Kickstarter fundraiser a while back because it seemed like a well thought out game and appeared very interesting and fun.
(Y/n) had completely forgotten about Ben and was just excited about the new game. So much so that when she finished reading and got up, she screeched when she saw Ben on the floor sleeping. Her hands flew to her mouth as to not wake him and her whole body tensed up.

Turns out, Ben had been thinking of the choices he made to end up being chained to a random girls' staircase and had fallen asleep to shake the thoughts away.

(Y/n) stood there dumbfounded and just decided to leave him there. She decided to play video games to cope with the fact that this weirdo popped up unannounced and is slowly, but surely, taking up her life and attention.
