We flew up to the clouds then soured away. We landed next to the Queen and king not yet dead. They stared at us. Crystal was about to be killed, so was Max, thier fights hadn't gone so well. The king jumped at Crystal, his sword in his hand, I quickly cut off his hand, then set Max and Crystal loose.
"Thanks, but we had them where we wanted.."Max began.
"Yes, im sure you did. Have fun then," I said stepping aside. Max nor Crystal looked very eager to do anything. Max then ran up to his father, taking his sword and stabbing the king in the head. He then tossed the sword to Crystal. The Queen, one of the few remaning mages left, shot a fire ball at her. Caroline put a shield around Crystal, and shadow bit into the queens leg. Crystal then lunged forward, stabbing the queens heart.
"Thanks," Crystal said. We all nodded.
"So hows it been," I asked them.
"Oh you know good, spending a couple of months waiting to be killed, fun," Max said with a sarcastic tone.
"Hmm, you now it seems like all of us have a bunch of luck, I wonder why," I said loudly, only meaning to think it.
"Yeah i've wondered that to," Max said. Carolines watch buzzed. She listened to it.
"I have to go, some of the others need me," she said. I nodded.
"Tell them we said hi," Crystal said. I smiled. A letter appeared in the air. I took it. It had Merlins hand writing on it. I opened it.
"Dear Leonidas,
I am dearly sorry. It has happened, the time we spoke in silent whispers. I am very sorry for your loss. Your father has been killed, I know you know who did it, but please, do not go after him. It will bring you pain. I ask you not to go after TimeTale, even though he killed our father. I am sorry.
With sorrow,
Merlin,"
I then dropped the letter and fell to the floor. My head in my hands I began to cry. Only Shun, last family left. Nathan was my brother, but not real. Caroline came over and picked up the letter reading it outloud.
"Leo Im so sorry," Caroline said. Shadow came over and started to lick me, trying to cheer me up.
