I appeared at the edge of of a lawn that belonged to a cottage on the edge of a town. I walked up and knocked on the door. It opened. Before me stood Nathan. I smiled at him. He then invited me in.
I came in and sat on my old couch. Nathan sat across from me on a chair.
"Hey," I said.
"So what have you been up to," he asked me.
"Not much, my dad was brutally killed. I almost had to burry another friend, you know..... normal stuff," I whined.
"You where joking about the normal stuff thing, right, Leo, he asked me worryingly?
"Not really," I replied.
"Oh, well I'm fine," he said slowly. There was then a knock on the door. Nathan got up and opened it. The man in red was there.
"You," I growled. I then tackled him. The man in red and I appeared in a cafe. We landed on a table, breaking it. And then I continued to hit him in the face over and over again as he tried to block. I then picked him up and shoved him away from the table.
When I looked at the occupants of the table to apologize for what was happening, one of them slapped me and another stood up. Jenny had slapped me, and I didn't know who the new girl was.
"What are you doing?" Jenny angrily asked me.
"Umm, well I tackled the man in red at Nathan's house and then we appeared here, who are your new friends," I asked beckoning to the baby dragons and the girl who I had never seen before.
"This is Onyx, and these are our pet dragons," Jenny replied.
"I see, let me fix the table," I said as the table flew back together just as I guess it looked like before I had crashed into it. I then felt a sword go through my side. The man in red had stabbed me. Onyx then punched the man in red, who flew back to the opposite side of the room.
As Onyx freaked out, Caroline looked at me. "How fitting that as soon as you arrive, you get hurt," she said playfully. She waved her hand at the wound, and a pink star twinkled from her finger to his wound, stopping the bleeding, leaving only a scar. I wasn't to happy, I'd gotten cut by another magical weapon, and no magical weapons wound can ever be completely healed.
I grabbed a chair and sat down after handcuffing the man in red to a mettle post. One of the baby dragons crawled to me and I picked her up.
She nipped at my nose as I remembered that these drakens knew little of dragon history, or of their owners, unless they told the drakens a lot. I then just put a lot of information into the drakens mind, including flight.
