As I was sitting in the chair looking out through the cracked door, as I usually do, I felt a hand grasp my shoulder. A little frightened I turn around to see who it could possibly be. To my own surprise it turned out to be my very own lady of the lake. Quickly reminiscing every sleepless night that passed me by as I had waited for her return, I soon realized there would be no more. Every morning I had awoke seemed gloomier then the last, but the next one happened to look just a bit brighter. For more days than I could count I was awaiting for her return back to me and my days just seemed to grow shorter as I could almost feel my life slowly slipping away from me. But this day was different, it felt as if the time had completely stopped because her figure was the only thing I could put myself to focus on. My eyes couldn't t help but to wonder and soon gaze into what was once the face I had fallen in love with years ago, but is no longer there. That lake had finally took every perfect feature she had been created with and claimed them as its own. Our time together had soon come to an end and she had to return back to the lake where she had arose from. But before our departure she had placed the ring we both had worn for all these years in the palm of my hand and began to close it as she started to fade away. In disbelief I fall back into my chair staring down at the one thing she left me to remember her by, but something deep down was telling me to follow her back to that place we had first met. As I rush to pick up my belongings from the room and start to head out the door Flora quickly stops me before I could take another step. "Take me with you." Flora said. Caught off guard I asked her about how she knew where I was on my way to. She then explained what she saw through the crack of my door and how she wanted to go back to visit the house. "Flora you were only so young, how could you even begin to remember anything about that house?" I asked. But to my surprise she knew so much more than any of us had ever thought. So I decided to bring her along with me and after the trip of what took up most of our days we had finally made it back onto the uneasy grounds of what we once knew as Bly Manor. Almost immediately we come to realize that there is no such thing as the Bly Manor house anymore. With such disbelief came so much pain to see that was once a place where we had all gathered as a family was nothing but the left over dirt on the ground of where the house used to rest upon. Not only was the one person I had truly loved taken away from me but the place where we first laid our eyes upon each other was no where to be found either. Tears streaming down my face as my knees began to weaken, I couldn't stand baring the sight of this any longer. But Flora was there to comfort me through what felt like another horrible heart break. "I didn't want you coming back here all alone just to find out what uncle Henry had done to the place." Flora whispered to me. Barley being able to get any kind of word out she began to tell me why he would even think to do something like this. "Do you recall the night Dani saved my life?" Looking up at her I said "How could I forget?" Flora then told me that after Dani and I had went our separate way from the house her, Miles, and uncle Henry had decided to move on from it as well. "Being in the same house that had been the place where he fell in love with my mother was just too much for him to possibly bear. Henry and mother would sneak around behind my fathers back until he found out about the whole affair. After deciding he wanted to leave that house behind he thought it was best to have the whole thing gone completely." As hard as it was to hear this coming from Flora it brought some sort of comfort to have answers as to why this would have happened. "I would like to go back and have a talk with Henry if that's alright." I said. Flora nodded her head and helped me up off the ground so we can then start to make our way back. We finally arrive at his place only to look around and not find him anywhere. Until we spot blood coming from beneath the bathroom door. We finally get up the nerves to open it and were both left speechless from what we had discovered.
