Chapter 1

Meka's POV

We just got off the bus and my ear still hurt from all the screaming these idiots did before we  got here . I look over at my twin brother Ethan to see him and his new friends  being harassed already . He has the worst luck I thought about going over to save  them however I was already late meeting with my best friend so I just left.  Ethan and I had just transfer to sky high for our freshmen and junior year.   I was starting as a  junior  because I skipped two grades and did not want be in the same class as him.
Lucky for me my best friend Cassidy Hill was also supper smart and we will be starting  junior year together, that way we can graduate together . I was look for Cassidy when a really cute guy walked up to me " Hey look another freshman hottie . Nice to meet you my name is Larry Little . I'm a senior transfer student . If you need anything , a  friend , guide or maybe some to be more than a friend let me know ." Said  Larry  flirting with me . As he's introducing his self to me Cassie walk up to us. "Wow  this is the best school ever hot girls no matter which way you turn ,yum" he said looking Cassie up and down . "No , little boy we are both juniors and not at all interested  so bye  " Cassie dismissed him .  I was a little annoyed at the wannabe play boy , I really thought he was cute and into me. Oh well I did not come to this school for boys but to give myself a leg up on becoming on of the most prettiest and badass female "hero"or "sidekick".  We made our way to the front office trying not to stare at everyone as some kids showed of there powers. I'm not one for showing off I mean I know I have a badass power and good control of it but what's the point of that. When there always someone out there stronger or better you. Besides the point of this school is not to  showboat but learn control of your power and help people. The way I see it even if you have amazing , if you have to carelessly show them off every five minutes than your not worth calling your self a hero. I look at the front desk to see a pale women with grey hair and blood red eyes I try not to stare rudely .  " Excuse me ms, my name is Tamika Martin and this is my friend Cassidy Hill we are new and here to pick up our school schedules . I look down at the paper and only had four class scheduled . Where were the rest of my classes. I looked over to Cassidy and she had the same confused look I had. " Excuse me, but there's seem to be a problem with our schedule. We only have four classes but the standard is eight. " I questioned the secretary. " Because you two are new here you have to go though Power Placement" she explained.  Great we are going to be forced to show off like trained dogs begging for masters approval. Let the Circus begin.
