Josies POV : I awoke to a strange sight and a strange feeling in my stomach. I looked around and I didn't see Penelope, which was strange because the last place I remember being was in her room . I walked outside of the room and saw hope walking with Raf . I knew something was wrong with me when I didn't feel anger or sadness . I felt nothing. I walked back in the room to see if my phone was in there . It was , there were no missed calls from anyone, not even Lizzie usually that would upset me but today was different. I didn't care. It was only when I turned to grab my bag when I looked straight at the hourglass and remembered everything I did yesterday with Penelope . i felt stupid i dont know why i would wanna take away all my bad energy . part of me didn't want to feel the pain of seeing hope and jed another part of me didn't want to feel guilty for leading Penelope on. Because it was so obvious that I wanted to be with Hope. no matter what though i had to keep this a secret if dad found out or mom she would ground me till the end of time.

Jed pov : i cant believe Hope  and I almost did it last night . i almost lost my virginity to hope it went around a few weeks before her and Landon broke up that they were gonna wait till they were more serious before they had sex so i would have been taking her virginity also . Even though she was clearly in love with Josie, I could feel myself really falling for her . i had so much respect for her that i would never truly act on my feelings but man did i want to . i woke up earlier than usual so i could go for a jog to clear my head but as i was getting dressed i heard a knock on my door . I knew it wasn't Hope because I was supposed to meet her after the second period bell . I opened my door to see Penelope park. I was confused because i've never talked to her before . she pushed me back into my room

"Woah woah what the fuck are you doing"

"We need to talk wolf boy''

"Oh yea who says i wanna talk to you''

''I know about you and Hope ok''

"I know you like her and i know that you know she likes josie''

She stood up and started walking towards me and looked me in the eyes

'' im gonna text josie and tell her to meet me in the gym and your gonna be there and you need to bring her over the edge''

'' why on earth do i have to bring her over the edge and when i do what's gonna happen ''

'' oh wolfie how stupid of you to not think i got that covered already last night i got her to do a dark magic spell that linked her emotions to a hourglass what she didnt know is the hourglass has a crack in it so the more angry she gets the more the crack expands till it breaks then she becomes the bad bitch i know she is ''
