A new life

A Dead End

~ I watched as the days passed by and I didn't wake and Rj was by me and since my parents where away for 2 weeks there was no rush. I leave and stand out on the porch. The wind blew my hair slightly and I hear footsteps and Rj comes out looking tired and worried. I wanted to say get some rest and for him to relax, but I knew I couldn't. " I wish you where here with me" he says and looks at the sunset, " I do too" I say and put my hand on his and it does not go through, but I just want to be able to hold his hand for one more time. He jumps back his eyes wild and he is scared. " what.. What touched me!" He says scared. I stand there hopeless and he looks around and goes back inside fast. I sigh and walk off the porch and I walk fast and I feel the wind from my wings lift me higher and I lean forward and they go. I'm amazed and smiling like never before. " this is so amazing!" I cry out and I attempt to spin and I begin to fall and I scream and I lean up and the wings go up and I get my balance. " note don't do that again" I say and calm down and I fly to the trees and the pond and I land softly and I stumble into the bushes and I get up and brush dirt off. " I need to work on that" I say as I spit out a pine nettle. " blah!" I say and I stand by the pond and I crouch lower and I pick up a rock and throw it against the ice and it turns into mist as it makes contact with the ice. " why can't I do anything!" I yell scared, and frustrated. I walk around and into the woods on the rocky path. I see two paths and I take the one in front of me and I keep walking. I see a snake and I back up and run. I get lifted into the sky and I see the sunset. Gorgeous is all I can say, I fly toward the house and I land on the grass balancing myself so I don't fall... Again. I walk to the house door and open it and make sure Rj wasn't around. I walk in and up the stairs to see my body still asleep. I lean against the door frame and watch. " now just wake up" I say and nothing happens and Rj comes up the stairs and walks into the room, straight through me. " please wake up" he says and sits on the bed next to me. I watch wondering what he will do. " I can't bare living without you, please come back to me, to the guys" he says and puts his hand on mine and holds it tightly. " I wish I could" I say and he looks around. " whose there" he says and I look stunned and walk over. I wave my hand in front of his face and he swats around if trying to hit a fly but his hand goes through mine. " a dead end is all I see" I say and I sit down in a chair and watch as he leaves and goes to sleep in the spare room. I fall asleep in the chair, ready to see what will happen next. { like it?
