I'm adding a character. Her name is going to be Valerie. She, like half of the people who work in the lab don't like Goh very much. Mostly because they believe it is his fault that Ash blacked out after crying for 3 hours. These people don't know the whole story, they just know things that are going around. Rumors to put it simply. Valerie also has a crush on Ash, btw.
(Ash's POV)
'It's been a few weeks since... well I blacked out, I guess. It's been really awkward between me and Goh. We don't really talk to each other unless we have to. We have been overall avoiding each other. I have noticed some of the other people in the lab are treating Goh differently, and I don't mean a good different... I have been meaning to talk to Goh about what happened but whenever I try to this one girl in the lab, her name is Valerie, pulls me away. It's been getting really annoying. I just want things to go back to the way they were.'
Pikachu is currently trying to make me feel better. "I appreciate the effort buddy, but...." "Pika..." I pet his head. "Hey. I know what you can do to help me feel better." His ears perked up. "Here's what you have to do...."
(Goh's POV)
I was just playing with Scyther when Dragonite snuck up behind me and grabbed me! I was scared because I didn't know what had grabbed me but that fear was quickly formed into confusion. "What are you- DOoOInnnG?!" *It flew up and then into the lab! Where is it taking me?!
That question was soon answered. Next thing I knew I was in mine and Ash's room. "Thanks Bud. Thanks Dragonite." Ash said while smiling at then. "You can put him down now." Dragonite released me.
(I am changing my writing style for the next part)
"Wait- what is going on? Why did you have Dragonite do that?!"
"I needed to talk to you." *Ash said seriously*
"You could have just asked me..."
"No I couldn't have! I've been trying to for weeks! But anytime I even get close to it, Valarie will do whatever it takes to keep me away from you! She is driving me crazy! The only reason I can even talk to you right now is because she got sick and isn't here! She has already tried calling me 27 times!" He sits down and puts his head in his hands.
I sat down next to him. "I- uh...... I'm not really good at this... but what did you want to me about?" I had my suspensions it had something to do with w hat happened about 3 weeks ago.
"I-it's about the Appiln and everything else that happened..... I need to know.... did I do something wrong..?" He looked at me. I could see guilt and sorrow in his eyes...
"No you didn't do anything wrong! I just jumped to conclusions... a-and....if I hadn't none of that would have happened....."
"Can-..... can I hug you?"
"Yeah..." We hugged each other for about 5 minutes before he let go.
"Sometimes else about that day....."
"What is it Ash?" He stood up and got something out from under his bed.
"This was f-for you, but I don't know if I should give it to you now... we just kinda fixed things..... and I don't want to go back to not talking..... but I'm going to give you it anyway because I need you to know." He hands me a little box just big enough to hold a pokeball or a small toy.
Inside it was a..... love ball? 'Is there a pokemon inside?' I pushed the button and it opened. A pokemon came out. 'Who is that?' 'Wait that's-!' "T-the Applin was f-or me?!"
"Y-yeah... it's ok if you don't feel the same... I just-"
I cut him off. "Ash. I-.. like you too."
I am not going to have my phone for a while or else I would update again soon. Also sorry it is so short. I will try to make the next one longer. Anyways........ how did you like my cliffhanger? I am probably going to turn this book into a Ash x Goh oneshot book. I hope you liked the chapter, I know it's not the best but I'm still trying to find the writing style that works for me. I will most likely remake this chapter and the last one. Just so they both make more sense and so there aren't any spelling errors. But yeah that's all, BYE! 👋👋👋
