(Goh's POV)
Ash and I were woken up at 6 am and sent to the Galar region. To my surprise it wasn't to do more research on G-max. It was to find out more about a pokemon called Applin. I couldn't tell if it was because I was tired or what but everyone seemed to be acting weird, like they were hiding something, but I was too tired to process anything at the time. 'I wonder if Ash noticed there off behavior?' "Hey Ash?" He responded with. "Hm?" He seemed to be looking for something? "Did you notice something off about everyone this morning, and why the urgent need to research Applin?" He stopped walking and tensed up a little, I stopped too and looked at him waiting for a reasons. "No nothing at all was off!" He said quickly and started running twords the center of town. He sounded nervous? "ASH!" I ran after him. "HEY COME BACK!" He stop at a fountain. "What was that about?!" I didn't mean to sound angry but I did.
(Ash's POV)
"What was that about?!?!" He didn't sound too happy, but I could tell I was blushing because he brought that up and I knew he would think something was up. Not that that was much better..... but I'm a horrible liar. "O-oh um w-well..... I remember the Professor mentioning this fountain s-so...-" I wasn't exactly lieing because he did mention it but that wasn't the reason.
(Goh's POV)
"Ok?" He is a horrible liar. "Ok well I'm going to ask around to see what I can find out about Applin. Meet back here in ten?" I really want to know why it's so important, and I have a feeling Ash knows something but I will figure it out on my own. "Y-yeah sure....." Ash stutterd?! Ok, now that I think about it he has been acting weird all week.....
(Ash's POV)
"Y-yeah sure....." Stupid stop stuttering! You talk to him all the time! I walked away before he could say anything else, I just need to catch an Applin in ten minutes. Ugh this is going to be impossible!

All I've found out that I didn't already know is that if someone giving you one is a way to tell someone you have a crush on them or you love them. Which is actually kinda cute. Now to find Ash, and ask him what's going on.
(Ash's POV)
"See anything buddy?" "Pika!" Pikachu ran into the forest. "Hey come back!" I ran after him. When I found him he was standing next to an Applin. "Good job buddy!" I pet pikachu's head and turned to the Applin. "Hi there I'm Ash and I want to know if I could catch you for someone special to me?" I said blushing as I held out a love ball, the pokemon looked at me and touched the pokeball. "Thank you. Ok bud now we have to go find Goh!" I turned around and he was standing right there. Oh no did he see me catch it? Does he know why? What if he rejects me? "H-hi..?" "Who?" He asked me. "W-what?" "Never mind it doesn't matter..... let's go back to the lab." He started to walk away. He seemed upset but I didn't understand why...
(Goh's POV)
I found Ash but it looked like he was running after Pikachu. So I followed them into the forest. He was talking to an Applin. "-catch you for someone special to me?" He said. I felt like crying. It all made sense now. Why we came here. Ash is going to confess his feelings for someone with the Applin..... its probably that Misty girl he is always talking about. Of course he would never love me, and I know it's not for me because he had me come along. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard him say my name. When he turned around he looked shocked to see me there. "Hi?" "Who...?" I couldn't say anything else. "W-what?" He said. I was seriously about to start crying so I turned around and said. "Never mind it doesn't matter..... let's go back to the lab." And walked away.
《Back at the lab》
(Ash's POV)
Goh was quite the whole way back. When we got back the Professor went to ask how it went and Goh ran past him. Of course I went after him but he went in our room and locked the door.
"Goh?! Why'd you lock the door?" Silence. "Goh...? Did-..... This is my fault, isn't it...?" I feel a tear run down my cheek. I hurt him somehow. I don't know what I did, all I know is this is my fault. I'm crying. I haven't cried in a long time. "Please tell me what's wrong..." No response. "AT LEAST SAY SOMETHING!" I yelled as I hit my hands on the door. I sat against the door. "Please....." I whispered. I sat there for a long time. Almost 3 hours had already gone by. Was he even still in there? I'm still crying. My head hurt from crying for so long. I was growing tired but I didn't want to sleep until I at least saw him or heard his voice.
(Gou's POV)
When we got back to the lab I ran to my room. Well technically mine and Ash's room. I shut the door and locked it. "Goh?! Why did you lock the door?" I didn't say anything i couldn't. Especially to him. "Goh...? Did-..." He stopped for a second. "This is my fault, isn't it...?" I didn't know what to say. I mean in a way it was his fault but not at the same time. I could hear him crying. He has never cried around me before. "Please tell me what's wrong..." That was something I couldn't do. I couldn't tell him that I was heartbroken because he didn't love me. I couldn't..... not now..... not ever. "AT LEAST SAY SOMETHING!" He hit the door. He yelled. I wanted to. I really did but I couldn't find the words so I just sat against the door. "Please....." He whispered. Almost 3 hours had gone by. I'm sure he had to have left by now. So I got up and slowly opened the door.
(Ash's POV)
I felt the door open slightly behind me. I stood up. The door slowly opened the rest of the way and he was standing there. He looked shocked to see me still here. I hugged him. As tight as I could I didn't want to let go. I was starting to black out. I knew I only had enough time to say one thing so I answered his question. "F-for you..."
(Goh's POV)
He was standing there. I was shocked. He was still crying. I has been three hour and he is still crying?! He hugged me so hard I almost couldn't breathe. "F-for you..." That's all he said before he blacked out. "Woah. Ash?" I lowered him to the floor. "Ash?!" I shook him slightly. "ASH?!?" He just blacked out! I didn't know what to do. I was worried, scared, and I'm pretty sure I was crying. I didn't want to leave his side but I needed to get help. Maybe I could do both I thought as I pulled out my roto-phone and called the Professor.
Ok this took forever, and I promise I will get started on chapter 2 as soon as possible. This is the longest thing I have ever written or typed. 1349 words! I hope you like it. I'm sorry if I made spelling mistakes or if some of it doesn't make sense. I think I made it a little over dramatic hehe sorry. But yeah that's all. Bye!😁
