Alchemia Story: Adventure of Life Time

Chapter 5 - The beginning

I woke up when heard a voice, that sounds like a female child 

"Helloooo? Are you Alive??" She said in a cheerful tone " Say something if you die!

I slowly remove my face from the floor where I wake up and saw a cat- ear -girl 

("I'm in a sort of a dungeon or something") I thought when I finally notice the surrounding of my place where the cat-ear-girl standing in front of me 

She has white hair in pigtail style on both sides of her side along with her ears  and has a black headband on her head while her eye's red

Her clothes are black and white that relieve her shoulder and belly, and she has a daisy flower  in front of her clothes and also wears black shocking  underneath her puffy shorts that have the same pattern as her clothes 

The cat- ear- girl smiling cheerful face turned into a surprised one when I look up at her

"Ah, you are alive!" She said  while I look at her in confusion before I could ask her 

her face turned into a question glace in which mean I think she already took the hint when I'm about to ask her something

" Huh? You couldn't tell me if you were dead" The-cat-ear girl said  "I know, but if someone asks you ["are you dead?" ]will apparently you will come back to life" while putting her right hand on her face 

Okay, I'm now more confused about what she means about when someone asks you If you are dead but apparently you will come back to life 

but then her face changes into her normal cheerful one when she saw me 

"I don't know why you are all slumped over like that but cheer up!" She said with her arms open wide in front of me "Look, I'll give you this"

with that suddenly faded into white but it didn't last long 

I felt something weighted my bag on the side, I took the things that are weighing my bag and saw rainbow gems

and it's not only one, the gem inside my bag where a total of one hundred gems 

I wonder why she would give this to me when I and her just meet each other 

"Just cheer up," The cat-ear-girl said with a determined look on her face and it looks like she is trying to cheer me up "Come on, look up and stand !" 

So I stand up from my place where I was the seat

("She so short compare to my height") I thought while I stared at her 

and her face changes into an expression of into a worried one 

"It looks like your partner  is fighting over there," She said while towards that direction "Why don't you go and help him"

Wait, partner?

I don't remember having a partner 

I told her "okay "even though I don't remember having one but I'm willing to help other people before I could ask her where the place she said that "my partner" is fighting

The cat-ear-girl turn her direction back to me while smiling she waves both of her hands in front of her before  saying

"Ok then, bye-bye! " with that everything turns black again

Why this keeps on happening to me before I fall to the floor and let myself sleep in the dark that cover my vision
