Smoke rises to circle your head

Its been a long year

And the fire isn't enough to purge it from your system

Memories of late night lovers dance in your head

Slowly undressing as you add more wood

With the hope that a brighter fire will cure the darkness

You've made a lot of mistakes

The brightness didn't help

Now you see her in the park

All laughter and bright colors

Gone just as fast as you got her

The fire dances and rises in the night

Sparks make their way higher mixing with the stars

Paired with the smoke its as if another galaxy appeared

So you sit dwelling on your mistakes

And wishing you weren't alone

You've reached the end of published parts.
