"oh, okay. Good mor-night too, Jisoo." I said while smiling and immediately drifted off to dreamland.

•3rd person's POV•

Other people says that you'll wake up in the not-so-pleasant way, because you found it hard to sleep comfortably at night when you just moved in somewhere else.

Another thing, because you're still adjusting to the unfamiliar place, also maybe because it's noisy outside your new house or you're afraid there's a ghost looking at you.

While Jennie here just woke up with a bright smile -which is rare- that almost made the sun go jobless, even if she keep on denying that it's all because of a certain brunette she just met last night.

She doesn't even have this thing called hangover.

After stretching a little bit, Jennie moves to look at her left side expecting to see the said girl, but to her disappoinment, the only thing she saw is a nicely arranged sofa and a pillow on the side with a blanket on top of it.

Opening her phone to check the time, Jennie saw 2 massages from Suho saying that he's home already, safe and all. The other one said that he already said hi to his parents for her that leave Jennie giggling, why not if your cousin is drunk texting you hilariously, especially the emoji's at the end.

Going out of the room, Jennie started to smell something yummy that made her stomach somehow growl.

Geez, this thing is hungry.

"Jisoo? What are you cooking?" The dumpling like girl asked once she arrived inside the kitchen and seeing Jisoo with an apron and hair in a messy bun in her cloths is, definitely hot.

Add the chef's kiss if you want, but I prefer the french one, ehe.

"Oh, Good morning! you're awake already." Said Jisoo once she acknowledge the other girl's presence. "And oh, I'm cooking some pancakes, sit down, it's almost finished. I also hope you don't mind me doing things on my own without your permission."

"Good morning to you too and It's okay, you can do anything you want. You'll be staying here anyway." Jennie said and smile at her. "Oh, and you know how to cook?" she asked after Jisoo placed their breakfast on the table.

"Ah, I don't actually know but when I woke up earlier I just feel like cooking and here we are." The brunette girl said awkwardly and sit beside Jennie. "But I hope it'll taste good."

And so with that, Jennie started to eat some and lord, it is yummy that she almost moaned. Yes, somehow, she is infact exaggerating.

"Ghad, Chu! It's yummy." she eats another slice of it with some syrup this time.

"Chu?" Jisoo asked amused and shocked at the same time that suddenly stopped Jennie from devouring the pancakes.

"Oh, sorry, Its somehow a normal thing for me to suddenly gave someone some weird nicknames."

She even called Rosie as fluffy chipmunk once, which it does actually suites her. Like really.

"Oh, its okay. No need to be sorry and you can call me chu anytime, if you want." Jisoo said approving to the cute nickname, it's not that weird for her if she'll be honest.

"Really??" Jennie asked and smile again to her newly found friend, not until she heard the word 'but' and her smile slowly fades away.

"But, I should also give you a nickname to be fair." A little smirk plastered on the other girl's face.

"I'll call you-"

Jennie cuts her off by sternly saying. "Don't you ever dare call me mandu because of my cheeks." while playfully glaring at the girl.

Which Jisoo nodded her head as a response and smile. "Relax, I'll call you Jendeuk, not mandu."

"Oh.. why Jendeuk though?" Jennie asked, wondering why on earth her nickname is like that.

The girl with the nickname 'chu' just shrugged. "um, 'cause i saw you earlier clinging to your pillow like your life depends on it. Its cute."

"Your watching me while i'm asleep??" Jennie asked with wide eyes, but of course she's just joking while Jisoo took it in the wrong way.

"What?! no! yah, that'll be creepy. I said 'I saw you earlier' I mean when I woke up." Jisoo said defensively and just continue eating with a little pink tint on her cheeks.

Jendeuk girl just chuckled. "So, um, I have to go to the office later, the boss called me. Will you be okay if i'll leave you here for a while?" Jisoo nodded her head and gave her a small smile.

After eating breakfast and washing the dishes, Jennie started to prepare herself already while Jisoo is in the living room watching some drama in the TV.

"Chu?" Jennie called while making her way to where the girl is, ready to leave.

The said girl look at her questioningly. "yeah?"

"Here's my number, call me when you need something. You can use the telephone right there." She said and point towards the old traditional thing near the door or in short, the landline.

"If you get bored and want to go out, here's the key and make sure to lock the door, leave a sticky note in the fridge too. Just in case." She said once again and gave the key to the girl as she also gave her a smile.

"Be safe on the way." Jisoo said after accepting the key and smiled back, noticing her outfit. Involuntarily, staring at some part but immediately snap out of it.

"Um, your uniform suits you, by the way."

"Oh, t-thank you, I'll go now, chu. See you later!" Jennie said while blushing and went out already.

Walking out of the building Jennie saw the Landlady and decided to greet her.

"Good morning, Mrs. Landlady!" She greeted and bow her head.

"Good morning also, you're Jennie Kim right?" and so Jennie nods her head and smile at the middle aged lady. "Oh, and just call me Mrs. Choi, dear."

"Sure, Mrs. Choi. I also want to tell you about the light in the hallway, It's still not fix?"

"Right, I'll do something about it, Thank you for reminding me, sweetie." Mrs. Choi said and was about to go already but Jennie said something more.

"Oh and also, don't worry about Jisoo, i'll take care of her from now on." said Jennie and Mrs. Choi looks at her like she have this strange heads that keeps on popping out of her.

"You know Jisoo?" The old landlady asked her.

"Yes, I met her last night at the rooftop." Jennie said while smiling but at the back of her mind she's asking why did Mrs. Choi looks at her like that earlier.

Does she have something on her face? Smudge make-up?

"But Jisoo-" Mrs. Choi was about to say something else but Jennie's phone suddenly ring so she excused herself and answered it.
