(s) Kita Shinsuke - Untouchable

[Note: Setting is in the medieval period.]

Kita Shinsuke, a known crown prince. Yet, he was known because he was pitiful. Kita was different from the other nobles. His family was considered as complicated because of his mother's condition. His mother suffered a mental illness, which became a laughing stock to the other noble families. However, Kita did not believe any of the gossips the nobles made, which was said that she was a murderer. He loved his mother, and he was sure of it.

This situation affected his personality. The boy grew up to be as cold as ice and most likely, a suicidal person. He was not able to have friends because of his personality. Kita was somehow discriminated against because of the rumors about his mother. 

Now was the night of his debut to the higher society. All eyes were on him, filled with disgust and hatred. In fact, Kita did not trust anyone that night. Not until he made his way to the lake and met a fellow at his age. He did not expect this to happen since he only wanted to run away from those toxic people. 

"Take my soul and please let me disappear from here." He made a wish by the lake.

"Your wish is my command." 

Kita had his eyes wide opened. He was surprised to hear a voice.

Kita looked around the area, hoping to find someone.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" He announced.

A girl's giggle was heard. Kita turned in the direction from where he heard it. As he turned, he saw a girl. She was wearing white and she was unbelievably glowing. 

"Who are you? Are you a fairy or something like that...?" Kita almost stuttered as he clearly saw the girl's face. He admired your ethereal beauty.

"Well, something like that. But, call me y/n. Nice to meet you!" You smiled, which made the boy smile for the first time.

Since that night, Kita smiled and enjoyed your company. The two of you grew closer and closer as the days went by. Kita found his happiness with you.

"Kita-kun! I'm here." You waved your hand as you saw him walking towards the lake.

He smiled which made you happy.

The lake was your favorite spot. It was peaceful and calming, perfect for the two of you. However, no matter how happy a person is, it will always be temporary.

"Y/n!" Kita called out your name, but there was no response.

He wondered, but he still called out your name. He searched everywhere, from the bushes to the trees. He even planned to dive into the lake. Yet, he did not found you. Kita sweated and worried.

'Where are you?'

He kept mumbling to himself.  He searched for you the whole night. Yet, you never appeared.

Kita returned to his old self, gloomy and cold. His smile did not come back since you were gone. His serious look intimidates the nobles, but they still see him as pitiful. Kita never believed the rumors they always talked about. Yet, it was for him to discover if they were true.

Since you were nowhere to be found, Kita trapped himself in the castle. He hated it, but it was the only place he could stay. It felt strange that the castle was in deep silence. However, noises were suddenly heard from Kita's mother's quarters. Kita was surprised, so he stood up from his bed and rushed towards his mother's room.
