Chapter 1: Meeting

»Romeo's POV«

It was a normal day at the guild. Everyone doing their own things. I was just sitting there, bored out of my mind.

"Romeo!" Mirajane smiled at me. "Why aren't you with the others?" She smiled sweetly.

"Everyone is doing their own stuff while I'm stuck here." I huffed.

If you don't know, I'm Romeo Conbolt. I'm 17 and I'm from the guild called Fairy Tail, the strongest guild in Fiore. I have the best friends ever. Eve, from Blue Pegasus, which is kinda annoying because he usually flirts and Chelia, from Lamia Scale, who has a huge crush on Eve.

"How about you walk around town. That's what I do when I'm bored." Mira recommended.

"Honey." A heard a low voice behind me say.

"Laxus-kun!" Mira smiled sweetly and got out of the counter and went to hug him.

They nuzzled each other's noses and hugged. Ew.

"Anyways, thanks Mira. Enjoy your lovey dovey momment." I sighed and walked out of the guild.

•In Town•
I sighed as I walked down the street full of love birds and families.
'This isn't helping Mira' I thought as I continued to walk around.

I sighed and sat down on the grass at the Magnolia Park. I laid my head against the tree and looked around. It was so quiet.

"Hey Romeo!"

"Natsu-nii!" I yelled and shot right up like a rocket.

"What are you doing here Romeo?" He asked.

"Relaxing. You?" I replied looking up at him.

"Waiting for Luce. I'm going to confess to her." He chuckled.

"Good for you." I stood up and started walking away. "I'm going home."

"Oh okay. Thanks for letting me and Luce alone." He grinned.

"You are 22 and haven't confessed? Have fun." I waved and walked off.

The truth is, I wasn't going home and I only wanted to leave them alone. I didn't want to be a stalker like Mira.

I continued to walk around town until a flicker of light caught my eye. The small light was flying around and no one seemed to notice. Then it flew back to me. I saw it more clearly. It was a fairy! With a tail? It's so...beautiful.

"Follow me." A small voice said.

"Huh? Why?" I asked but the small fairy was already flying away.

I started running after it. I didn't care if I bumped into people but luckily for me it was nearly dark so not many people were in the street.
I continued to follow it until we were about to go to a dark forest where you are not allowed to go to because mysterious deaths occur if you there.

"Wait!" I yelled and the fairy stopped. It's little thin tail as at the end a fury like texture was moving with the silent wind.

"This is as far as I can go. Mysterious deaths occur there. I'm not allowed to go in there." I explained while the fairy rolled her eyes.

"Those weren't deaths. Those were people who commit suicide. This forest is know for a million deaths but really suicides." The fairy smiled

"Oh." I said as I slowly start to go into the forest.

I quickly ran in it so nobody will see me.

I continued to the follow the fairy until we reached a dead end.
