I'm not to good at cute so sorry.

Toni sighed for what had to be the hundredth time that day as she stared out her bedroom window. Under normal circumstances the view she had of the garden relaxed her, but not then. For it was the second Thursday of the month which meant that it was time for Prince Thor and Lady Sif’s public sparring match. Toni slung the curtain back across the glass before she flopped unto her bed. Every month Sif got to choose the area that she and her soon-to-be husband would spar at and every month she chose the part of the garden that was right in front of your room. It was almost like Sif knew how much Toni envied her. How much Toni wished to be as thin and powerful like her frenemy.

With yet another sigh Toni rolled off the bed and stepped in front of the mirror that hung directly across from her bed. Just as she had expected her flimsy nightgown did nothing to hide her larger-than-she-liked body. A look of hopelessness with a tint of disgust passed over her face before she sucked her protruding stomach in.

“Lady Toni are yo-“ Loki stopped mid-sentence, still in the hallway, and with wide eyes he let his gaze travel her body.

“What are you doing? Get out or turn around or do something!” Toni screeched while she franticly grabbed for the dress that she should’ve already had on. Loki merely smirked as he stepped over the threshold and quietly shut the door behind him.

“Why are you holding your stomach like that? Are you in pain?” Loki’s smirk faded into worry as he rushed to her side and gathered her into his arms. Heat rushed to Toni’s face as unclenched the muscles in her stomach.

“Nothing is wrong.” She lied while sending a glare at the mirrored image of her stomach. Loki peered at her face closely while he simultaneously pushed her toward her bed.

“What did the mirror do to you?” he questioned once her knees had hit the side of the bed and caused her to sit.

“What?”

“You glared at the mirror what did it do to you?” Loki explained further while he slid behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

“It showed me how big I am.” Toni glanced down at her hands as she felt the weight behind her shift. She could feel the warmth of his hand before his hand even touched her jaw and forced her to look into his eyes.

“How big… you mean how beautiful you are? You are the most amazingly beautiful person in all the nine realms. If you are not already aware of that I obviously don’t tell you enough.”

“No I’m not.” she restituted as she pulled away from his gentle grasp.

“Yes, you are. Did you know that when I first asked you out four months ago I was in a footrace with Lord Hayden? I had to hit him so I could reach you first.” Loki chuckled lightly while he pulled Toni into his chest and began to nibble on her neck.

“He’s always around all of the pretty bar maidens, why would he want me?”

“I believe it would be because your beauty surpasses every bar maid that has ever lived or ever will live.” Loki huskily murmured into her ear, but before he could turn his attention back unto her neck she twisted around to face him. Toni opened her mouth to speak as she blinked away the tears that threatened to fall, but found that she couldn’t sort out her thoughts. With a frustrated groan she leaned forward with the intent to kiss Loki; he however claimed her lips before she even had a chance to do the same to his.

“You do realize that if someone sees us like this I will be stripped of my title and forced into the street?” Toni whispered when Loki removed his mouth from hers to trail kisses down her jaw and neck.

“Not if I marry you first. You know I like the sound of Princess Toni, Loki’s wife.” He stated before pressing his lips back to hers.
