Glorious Bastards

Christmas had passed without any sudden events, and on the 27th the boys had met up for a sleepover and gift exchange. "So Ed well let you go first... uh don't be too impressed though." David clumsily slid a poorly wrapped box over to his friend, "So let's see what we got... OH MY GOD IS THIS THE CORY X BARRY DATING SIM!" "Yep... took me a while to find it though so you better enjoy it." "Hell ya man!" "Q your turn," The large lad lobbed another poorly wrapped box at Quentin who barely caught it, "Uh... what is this." "The complete JimJim's Games novel." "REALLY!" "Well I think so, I mean it says so on the cover." Dave smirked at his success, shopping for others was always a joy to him, and giving the best gifts was the most satisfying thing. "So... you like em?" The two nodded, still staring at their acquired trinkets. "Then my job here is done... now put it away so we can start Dungeon Diving!" The day was young, and although it was only 4 o'clock, the setting burning orange sun pierced the gray cloudy sky. Keeren watched the same sunset with annoyance, his fist clenched in rage with memories of his failed battle still lingering in his mind. "Keeren... you got visitors." The warden stared coldly at the Junior looking out his window, he responded with a few clicks and left his cell cuffed. "So you failed me... all of you failed me." "Jeez chill, we tried and when we get released we'll try again!" Devon mumbled, the three students sat around one of the visitor center tables. A girl clad in black and wearing sloppy dark makeup glared at the teens, "It doesn't matter that you'll try again, It matters that you lost." "We didn't try to lose, what you think we took these abilities and just got the hell out of there. NO, we stuck with our word and tried to eliminate them!" "IT DOESN'T MATTER!" Abi shot up, and one of the guard's looked over questionable, but soon she noticed her mistake and calmed down. "Well... I came not to forgive you, but to give you another chance. These will boost your stand's power, and you'll be able to surpass even mortal bounds." Her ominous words silenced the boys sitting in front of her, and soon each looked at her with hope and intrigue. "Well hand them over, let us see!" Devon motioned for what she claimed would give them unlimited power which could surpass even their mortal coil. "How did you sneak them in?" Alix pondered quietly to her, "It's just stickers again, but these will enhance any power, what guard do you think would question a little middle school girl and her book of stickers?" "Fair point... well.... Hand them over already!" She slid each of them a singular sticker, the sticky side facing up and motioned them to put it somewhere no one could see. "I... can feel it. The power is GROWING! I CAN FEEL THE INDESCRIBABLY FEELING OF BECOME INVINCIBLE!" Abi smiled at the response as the junior rose to his feet, and soon the guards were making their way over to the noisy bunch to detain them once more. "YES! NO ONE CAN..." His face fell still, his voice fell silent, and soon he toppled backwards... Dead. The other looked in horror noticing their mistake, and immediately tried pulling off their applied stickers. "YOU BITCH! HOW COULD YOU!" Alix jumped to the fiend, but soon gagged on his own words and began to vomit furiously. He rolled on the cold concrete in pain and clawed at his throat, unable to breath from the clogged up puke blocking his airways. Soon his face turned a sickly blue, then purple, Alix's movements slowed, then grew to a crawl, and then stopped. By this point Guards had rushed over to check the boys and they pushed all the other convicts out of the room. "You... tell me your name you BITCH!" "No... I don't think I will," she said, smirking down at Keeren, he was suffering from a painful stomach cramp and tried to nurture it by hunching over. "Here let me help you up." She reached down and grabbed the Junior's arm, he quickly swatted it away and the Guards soon rushed Abi out of the room telling her she could return another day once all of this was back to normal. She just nodded and apologized for the mess going on, and with sympathy the adult thanked her and returned back to the scene unfolding. "NO! I MUST STOP HER! SHE MUST BE STOPPED SHE'LL KILL US ALL!" Keeren flailed against the guards holding him down, he pushed and crawled trying to break free from their grasp to tackle the leaving fiend. "STOP! YOU MUST STOP her." The student's voice faded, his jolting movements ended, and after a quick check his heart beat had stopped. Cause of death was a heart attack, Alix choked on his own puke and saliva and died from lack of oxygen. Devon's stomach was checked and showed signs of an extremely powerful form of Cholera. And as the sun set on December 27th, David spun tales about how an army of the undead would soon rule the cave systems that the players had worked so hard to clean up. "A fiendish villainess walks out of the shadows, revealing she holds the key to over taking the entire cave network." "I use a poison arrow to stop her in her tracks!" "Roll D20," "Shit a 1," "Your arrow spirals out of control and clinks against the stone pillar far away from her, she laughs at your puny attempt and licks her lips. She seems to have taken A liking to her next prey..." Abi stared deeply at her black Diary as it's cover shifted and morphed from My Chemical Romance back to Black Parade. "How interesting... and useful, but it's a shame I can't use both at once. No matter... now who's next."
