Not everyone believed in them. Not everyone found theirs either. Soulmates were a sensitive topic for some people. For others, it was simply a myth or a fairytale meant to give children hope that someday they might be able to see the colors of the world.
Science has proved again and again that finding your soulmate was a low chance. So what was the point in believing in such a silly thing? Why believe that you'll see a world of color if you get a kiss?
That's why Alexius, better known as Inny, didn't believe in such stupid myths. Life was already bad for him, and he didn't feel the need to chase after something that will never happen. He didn't need a soulmate.
