The Start of a New Friendship

We begin our story with the gang sitting in the Hall of Justice. Sly and PBat were joking around in the corner somewhere. Castor and Veronica were out doing who knows what, and Jess, Katz and Alex were playing with some tools. "Jess, can I borrow just 1 more diamond from you? I'll get you another one." Veronica asks. "Well sure! Just follow me. Excuse me guys," Jess says.
On their way to Jess' room, the girls start a slow walk and long chats with each other."So how are you and Castor coming along?" Jess asks looking at her Skyrim hat.
"Beautifully. I think I might be married soon though..." Veronica says nervously. A nervous laugh follows.
"Don't be shy! It's nice to have another girl around her to complain to and talk about girly stuff. I'm actuallly glad you are here, Veronica."
"Thanks so much, Jess! For a moment I was thinking that you didn't like me... But who am I kidding! I like being here, too. Back in the village, it was very ragedy being plain like the other villages. But since you all came and helped out, it almost makes me proud to think about it everyday. And with that, Jess, on behalf of my former home, I thank you and the Heros of the Hall of Justice."
By the time Veronica finishes, they reach Jess' room. "Wait here, or relax in the oasis. Your choice." Jess says as she makes her way to the chest labeled, 'Vanilla Minecraft' and grabs one diamond from her stash of diamonds. "Here you go. Enjoy it." Jess says, handing the precious metal to Veronica, her new companion, exiting Jess' base and rejoing the rest of the group.
Finally, Jess ans Veronica depart and as they go their seperate ways, they wink at each other. Katz, and Alex look at each other with weird face exppressions.
"What was that all about?" Katz asks.
"Oh. I think a new friendship has sprung between me and Veronica. And it all started over a diamond. I'll tell you the story later. But for now, back to what we were talking about before I was gone for a 5 minute course."
Katz and Alex roll their eyes as Jess starts to pick up where we are going to leave off.
