i walk up to noahs door and knock. i look down at my feet, thinking.

"hey" noah says

i look up

"hey" i say smiling

i walk in, and his dogs jump on me

"hiii riley! hey spaghetti" i say smiling

i pet them, and rub their bellies. i see chloe walk in

"oh hey y/n!"

"hey! what's up?"

"nothing really. we haven't seen each other in a week, it's sucked." chloe adds

"i know right!"

"me and y/n were gonna hang out, so...." noah says

"bye" i say

"see ya!" chloe adds

me and noah run up to his room, closing the door behind him

i sit on his bed, like i always did, and noah sat in his chair at his desk, like he always did.

"sooooo whats going on with you lately?" he asks

"nothing really. me, mya, and dylan have really only been hanging out. and sometimes me and chloe do. but nothing interesting" i say

"if you and chloe hang out, why don't you come and say hey?"

"you were never home." i add

"oh" he says

"well, what's going on with you?" i say to break the silence.

"me and may are really close. she always finds a way to make me laugh, and no matter what happens she is always there for me. i love being around her, she just makes everything better."

"that's so sweet." i say while blushing. he's so wholesome

"i know" he says smiling

"wanna get ice cream? we can go to our favorite place" he says

"oh yeah definitely"

we get his mom to drive us there, and she drops us off

"bye mom!"

"bye mrs schnapp!" i say

"i'll pick you guys up in an hour, okay?" mrs schnapp says

"alright!" me and noah say in sinc

we walk into the ice cream shop

"what flavor are you getting?" noah asks

"either cotton candy or birthday cake" i say

"you have the taste of a little kid. chocolate is definitely the best" noah adds

"not true! i just have better taste than you. anyway, chocolate is so plain."

"i know you didn't just say that about chocolate"

"oh but i did" i say sarcastically smiling

we walk outside after ordering our ice cream, and stand under the sun.

"wanna go on a walk?" he asks

"sure!" i say

"AND I HAD NO SHOE ON FOR THE REST OF THE DAY" i yell

"I REMEMBER YOU HAD HELLO KITTY SOCKS ON" noah yells

"OH MY GOSH THATS SO EMBARRASSING" i say

me and noah were taking about elementary, and he brought up how i was playing soccer and my shoe flew off into the tree. i had one shoe on for the rest of the day

noah then throws ice cream at me.

"OH IM GONNA GET YOU BACK" i say

he starts running, so i run after him

i catch up to him, and tackle him to the ground. we both start laughing

"we should probably get home, it's gonna be dark soon." it's about 6pm on a late december night.

noah calls his mom to come pick us up from where we are, which is right in front of a church.

"how was the ice cream?" she asks

"good!" i say

"did you guys have a- ice cream fight?" mrs schnapp says, sounding a bit confused

"uh yeah" noah says giggling

mrs schnapp drops me off at my house

"bye! thank you again mrs schnapp" i say

"of course! have a nice night y/n!"

"you too!"

"bye y/n" noah adds

"bye noah" i say smiling

i walk into my house, and go take a shower. i get into my pjs, and lay down. i fall asleep thinking of how much fun i had with noah. i missed hanging out with him.
