Along the busy road
But before it could blossom
The silence stole the motion
What might have gone wrong?
Yes, it's been a while
Since the pages gone blank
When the ink got dried
And the prologue left undone.
Still as the waters
It ceased to sparkle.
Like an obscure silhouette
From a far away castle.
Pause.
Reflect.
Breathe.
Enjoy.
Days, weeks, months
A year of self and divine discovery.
Finally she's coming home
To where her heart belongs.
It's time to rewrite
Those sappy happy endings
Bring to life the unwanted
And set free the unshed tears
Again and again
When it goes out of hand,
When the nightly trice seems dull
And the mind can't create.
Pause.
Reflect.
Breathe.
Enjoy.
Love deeper
Forgive faster
Lost and trapped
But she ain't gonna stop.
