Chapter 25

||Isabelle's Pov||

I skip out the school and into the semi-crowded student parking lot to find Phil standing by his car with a large grin. I start walking faster towards him with a large smile of my own. His smiles were really contagious, and I don't mind that.

"Hello cutie" he greets me as I approach him and stand only a few feet in front of him.

"Ooo. Cutie. Now we're going by nicknames are we?" I ask as I start walking to the other side of the car and climbed into the passenger. He does the same but sits in the drivers side.

"Yup" he replies as he buckles up his seatbelt and starts the car. I buckle my seatbelt also and sit back relaxed.

"Where we going to Mr. Lester?" I ask as I face him with a small smirk.

"You'll see" is all he says before he starts driving out of the lot and began driving through town to get to our secret destination.

"Laser tag?" I ask in almost a yell. I was extremely excited "I haven't been to a laser tag place in years."

"Well let's go and play some" Phil replies as he climbs out the car and quickly runs to my side and opens the door for me.

I smile at his cute little gesture, He then shuts the door and locks the car. He turns and faces me, He reaches for my hand and grabs it softly as we walk into the laser tag building.

When we walk in, my heart begins pounding hard against my chest; My excitement was increasing by the second. Also the fact that Phil was holding my hand made my heart beat way faster, It felt as if it would explode anytime soon.

"Just wait here" Phil says as he stopped off to the side of the laser tag, I nod my head and wait for him.

He walks off to the counter to pay for the two of us, My eyes wander over the arcade, then the candies, then the entrance to the laser tag game. This seemed to be the coolest thing in the world at the moment; This is how excited I am.

He walks back over to me and grasps my hand slightly, He leads me to the vests for laser tag and then the lady helps put the vests on us. She activates mine first and I run off into the play arena and began hiding behind some tall wall.

I then hear footsteps speed by my hiding spot but soon fade, I held my gun close to me and I start crouching down so I was right in front of a hole in the wall. I put my gun through it and wait till I see Phil.

Suddenly, I spot a moving object off to the left side of the arena, I aim my gun at it and see the colour of its vest; It was red, I'm green. I shoot at it and then the light turns off., This means I have to hide in a different spot since he must've saw where the lasers came from.

"Hah! Take that Lester" I cheer as I win the third game in a row. My arms were in the air and I was spinning around with a large smile, when I stop, I face a Phil with his lips pouted and his arms crossed.

"Care for another round?" I ask.

"Nope. We're done, we're going to play some arcade games that I'll surely beat you at" Phil says as he takes off his vest and hangs it onto the wall.

"Ok. Fine by me" I say as I take mine off and follow him to the games.

We run off to a Street Fighter arcade game. I stand on the right side and he stands on the right. He searches through his pockets and grabs two coins for the machine. He puts them in and we begin the game. I pick a character and he begins taunting me for probably choosing the worse.

"I can totally beat you" he says as he waits for the count down from 3 to begin.

"Well I can at least win one game with her" I says as I place my hands onto the joystick and the buttons.

"3...2...1... Fight!" The game starts and we begin bashing the buttons like crazy to beat each other up.

"I won them all. What're you going to say about that?" Phil asks as he walks me to the front door of my house.

"That I had a great time and had beat you at every laser tag game" I say with a bright smile.

"Haha very funny. I didn't expect you to be that good at laser tag" he says as he scratches the back of his neck and stared at me.

"Don't underestimate me" I laugh as I stare into his blue eyes.

Now we kiss, correct?

He then leans forward and had his lips barely touching mine. I smile to myself and then leaned forward and connected our lips and began moving my lips to his lips. We soon pull away and shared a smile.

"Well I shall go and see you tomorrow" I beam at him.

"See you tomorrow cutie" he says, quickly pecking my cheek and he started walking away to his car.
